What a fantastic place this is!We were there on day when a storm came in. Sitting on the back patio, under a umbrella, sipping wine and enjoying the clouds, lightning and thunder roll through. The people there were so nice and the amount of awards the wines have was pretty cool.We will certainly be going back again.... And, again.

I've been a wine club member here for a few years and will always be . Best wine and platinum customer service here. A hidden gem in the Apple Hill Camino area.

Went here to try a tasting December 23. The server tried to pour as little wine as possible for our tasting while others around us we’re getting half glasses (probably members). I really could not get a proper taste. Probably for the better since the wine was not that good. The woman next to me who was served half glasses was pouring them out lol. Trust me you can get much better wine. cheaper at Costco, or even CVS. I feel humiliated getting such a small tasting while others poured out half glasses. Unless you’re d*** enough to join this winery don’t go there.

We ended up going close to closing time, and they still allowed us a tasting. Wine and service, both nice. Can't wait for the weather to warm up and visit for the outside seating.

We came in a few weeks ago, about 20 minutes before closing just to see if they might squeeze us in for a tasting as we were on our way to a dinner at a different winery but had a bit of time to kill. They were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, we didn't feel rushed at all. The wines were AMAZING, we especially loved the Syrah. We will definitely be back to do a more leisurely visit and pick up some more bottles! We also appreciated that they kindly and professionally turned away another larger group that was clearly quite intoxicated and came in just 2 minutes prior to closing.

Incredible views. Apple Hill day and we decided to stop by the winery. The patio is very laid back with a great view to relax and drink some good wines. They have a few flight options. I highly recommend this place.

Always fantastic wines, friendly staff and a great view! A great little gem off the beaten path and worth spending some time at! Look for the "TG" signature wines for some truly great expressions.

Our servic was excellent and our hostess had us pegged in our wine preferences when she brought a tasting of 5 PM out to us. It is great!! The setting on the patio is truly like sitting in Tuscany. I got my Italy fix for 2022.

I wanted to like it more because the service was great. The two times we have been there it has not been crowded which is nice but so is people watching. The grounds and views are awesome. The wine just did not stand out for me. It was all ok but not overly remarkable even though it had good mouth feel, clarity, and there were no over done parts in the wines we tasted. I would go for the view and relaxed atmosphere. Just a tip though, they do not waive the $15 tasting fee with a bottle purchase. I'd just get a glass of a varietal you know you like and enjoy the environment.

While staying at a bnb in the area we were recommended to go here. We got 2 free tastings with card from our bnb. It was so beautiful there. Nice patio, lots of shade, views of the vineyard, just a really relaxing and chill vibe. They weren't crowded but had a steady stream of tasters come through. As soon as we were seated someone greeted us. They were fast with the wines and very attentive. Their wines were good and the best part is they dont gouge you on tasting fee like wineries in Napa and Sonoma are doing. $10. For a tasting and it's waived if you buy a bottle of wine, that is also affordable. I would go back if in the area. This place is a hidden find.

A niche El Dorado County winery located East of Placerville close to Hwy 50 in between Sacremento and Lake Tahoe in the Sierra Mountain foothills. The winery/tasting room is east to get to and located in a neat area. (Apple Hill). My take away is that this is a prospering family wine-making business where two sons have followed in their dad’s footsteps to master winemaking. They have some interesting varietals. I have visited Lewis Grace more than a dozen times over the past decade. Each time is better than the last. I was just there on 9/4/22 and note that Lewis Grace Winery received several double gold awards from The San Francisco Chronicle as well as accolades from other reputable sources. Many other awards can be seen over the years- a true testament to quality winemaking! Do taste or buy a bottle of the 2021 Chenin Blanc, 2021 Viognier and/or the 2019 TG Cab Sav. Simply amazing ….
