What a pleasant surprise. We were near by trailer camping and decided to grab a bite out. The food was really good. The outdoor dining concerned us given the July heat but their outdoor patio has great shade and a decent swamp cooler. And as a bonus we needed to pick up a few supplies and they had that as well.

Wow! What a charming lovely find on our first stop from the Bay Area towards Tahoe, in a tiny off the beaten path of Placerville. The food, service, ambience and service all awesome! The approach reminded me of all CA wine country. .l

5 stars from a person who grew up eating Indian food; Hidden-gem. They did a catering delivery for a 150 person wedding! Would do it again with them! Thank you to Komal, Jhai and their team for their prompt correspondence throughout the process. Please excuse any typos made.

DETAILED:
Hands down, some of the better Indian food I’ve had, especially having grown up eating Indian food for most of my life. For context, my wife and I were holding our wedding in Somerset, CA and due to my Indian heritage, we wanted to have Indian food at our wedding. I was initially a little hesitant to commit because it said “Food Mart” on the google images making me wonder if it was realistic to meet the needs of a wedding-sized event. However, after a deep dive into the reviews, I was willing to take a shot and pursue this restaurant further. I had my brother go and taste-test the various dishes and he immediately called me back saying the food was delicious.

Pros:
-Able to also cater to gluten-free, dairy-free, and soy-free dietary needs!
- Wedding caliber flavor and food for the wedding. Many guests commented on how they would want to have this food as wedding food instead of the traditional wedding food of steak/chicken/salmon/etc.
- Delivery available (including Somerset, CA).
Given the location of the wedding in Somerset, it was difficult to find any established restaurants nearby that were also willing to deliver to the wedding venue. I called about 5-6 different restaurants in Sacromento, and almost everyone was unwilling to deliver and one of them charged an additional delivery fee — understandably so. However, this restaurant was not only the closest, but also willing to deliver without extra fees.
- Goat curry is amazing!
- Very kind folks (Komal, Jhai, etc) and easy to work with.

Cons:
- Nothing majorly their fault. Saag paneer could be a bit creamier, but I would def get it again. Any issues were otherwise quickly resolved.

**Note
- If you have about 150 people — final tray count was about 7 full trays of meat dishes, 4 full trays of veg dishes, 2 full trays of rice dishes, 200 naans to cover everyone to have seconds and some leftovers. Initially, there had been fewer trays ordered, but we had to order additional trays since the food was such a favorite by many guests. Komal was great in handling this situation. It was inconvenient and stressful in the moment, but I would trust and go with them again given how she handled the situation promptly. Perhaps, one thing to consider for the restaurant (forgive me if I’m being ignorant) is having an extra tray or two backup dishes ready for larger events in case something occurs. This would prevent delays in having food delivered to the wedding. Again, I would go again to these folks regardless, because of how they promptly adapted to the situation. Second time here. The food is really good. The only seating is outside, so cold in the winter, lots of mosquitos this time of year, but worth it. The chai is very good, we've had the butter chicken, the coconut curry, have not been disappointed. The naan is some of the best.

My first time ever trying Butter chicken omg it was absolutely amazing & the garlic Nan was sooo good!! 5 stars!!!

Incredibly good food! We tried several dishes and liked them all. The naan is delicious. We have only gotten take out so I don’t know about dining in. Located in a little market. Highly recommend!
