“Had a burger at Pedroca's Burger and wow, just wow. Super chill place with cool vibes. The staff makes you feel like you're an old friend, and those burgers are legit delicious. The Raposão was unreal – juicy, flavorful, and all kinds of awesome. Seriously, you need to check this place out. It's my new go-to for burgers.“

“Came here cause it was close to the Greek Theatre and they had a special to who I went to go see (Djo) and it was sooo good. “We are visiting town from Texas and ran across Irvs burgers in Balboa. Service was friendly and quick. Breakfast burritos was perfect and the patty melt was amazing. “I recently stopped by Tam’s Burgers and had a solid overall experience. The menu is packed with variety—from classic burgers and fries to breakfast items, Mexican dishes, and even slushies. It’s a place where you can definitely satisfy a craving no matter what you’re in the mood for.
One of the standout positives is that they now accept EBT, which makes their food more accessible to everyone. The prices are reasonable considering the portions, most meals range from about $10 to $15. They also have combo options that include drinks, and the drink station is fully stocked with Pepsi products, frozen slushies, and soft-serve machines.
The interior is simple but clean, with a modern black tile floor and red booth seating. There’s plenty of space to sit and eat comfortably. The “Order Here” signage is clear, and there’s a solid system in place for taking orders.
Staff were efficient, though not overly friendly, which is fine, this place seems more about speed and quantity than sit-down service. Still, the food came out hot and fresh.
If you’re looking for a no-frills spot with a big menu and fast service, Tam’s gets the job done. It’s not gourmet, but it’s reliable comfort food at a good price.“

“I saw this place while driving and saw a line waiting for their food, so I decided to give it a try.. Ì asked those in line, what was good there.. The answer was either the teriyaki bowl or plates, and the teriyaki burgers.. I got the teriyaki chicken bowl.. it looked and smelled great driving home.. After eating it, I didn’t understand the line of people waiting.. It was okay, but in my opinion, no big deal.. I’ll be honest, I did eat it ALL, and the serving size was BIG, so by no means was it bad.. To be fair though, I’m gonna have to try again, and see what I missed the first time..“

“The burgers are flavorful and tasty. The ingredients are fresh, and the meat is of excellent quality. The meat is so tender that it virtually melts in your mouth, and the sauce adds to the flavor. Juicy and slightly pink in the middle, there was nothing that I did not like. This is the place to go if you're looking for a great burger in LA. P.S: "First Light Farms" provides their beef, which is certified humane, halal, and free of antibiotics, GMOs, and hormones (a New Zealand meat company).“

“I stopped by HiHo Cheeseburger in Marina del Rey around 3 p.m. on a Saturday, that magical hour when parking is neither impossible nor easy. The restaurant shares a gated lot with REI, which kindly validates two hours.
Inside, the vibe was steady but calm. I ordered the HiHo Double and fries, which arrived in a leisurely fifteen minutes, a dignified wait for 100% grass-fed, grass-finished Wagyu. The burger, though smaller than an In-N-Out Double-Double, was excellent: melty cheese, slow-cooked onions, and crisp lettuce. The fries were fine, but McDonald’s and the BK Lounge can rest easy.
At $10.45, HiHo is in a higher price category than In-N-Out and Shakeshack, but of comparable quality of taste. Worth a visit, but not at the top of my LA/OC burger rotation.
Still a solid 4 stars“

I got a cocktail on a whim thinking “it’s a burger joint, how good could it possibly be?” but I was extremely pleasantly surprised.

“I transport items all over the country for 3 years now trying so many food spots and this is still one of my favorite burger places. Juicy/ fresh/ well seasoned/ crispy/mouth watering. Have been here about 50x and always get minimum 2 burgers. Highly recommend.“
