I have been here approximately 6 other times. The food is good, albeit a bit expensive, and have always had a good experience until today. Last time they forgot my little side miso soup, so I mentioned that today. The dark haired brunette was very very rude. It was shocking to me as a paying customer how rude she was. I asked to speak with the manager and try why said there was no manager, I asked for the owner's info, and they said no way to get a hold of the owner. I rarely if ever write bad reviews, but for a place that I really enjoyed previously, I was left not only upset over not getting the soup they had missed last time, but also frustrated and upset.

We ordered 4 different rolls and got only 1 set of condiments 1 sauce 1 ginger and wasabi. The portions were extremely small for unreasonably high prices. Very greedy business and owner. I'd rather switch to Whole Foods sushi nearby it has great value and taste for the price you pay

The crispy tuna here is so good! The tuna and sauce make the dish very spicy and the rice has a perfect crunch. Spicy yellowtail flavor was a bit too citrusy for my liking. Love sweet fish

Sweet fish is a go-to spot on playa vista. The food is ok but it is convenient and quick. The service is usually lacking and the food is overpriced. Good place for kids.

The food was delicious. The ambiance was lovely. Our server was attentive and super friendly. I had the red dragon roll plus popcorn shrimp and it was a perfect selection. My wife had a salad. Miso soup and a speciality roll. She enjoyed it thoroughly. I would definitely come back here. It was a recommendation from my physical therapist.

So the rumor is true! Though service is good the food fell short of being good. Well we only ordered ramen. I was surprised the broth was dark because it was soy sauce. With half an egg and a slice of pork. Nothing really much to talk about. They could have made it great being the only sushi place around the vicinity of populated apartments. I'll find another sushi place elsewhere to get a good ramen.

This spot is a gem. I had an amazing experience. Great food at a great price! The staff was super friendly and helpful, it wasn't extremely packed so the atmosphere was perfect for my party. I'll definitely be coming back.

The new management is legit. Highly recommended! Very friendly staff and super yummy food. Jason, manager behind the sushi bar, is stupendous. Don't go for the fanciest venue. Go for really good sushi in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Awesome!

food isnt the best , very salty. also dont come if you are on an empty stomach. Got a Spider special roll it was ok and only had about 6 pieces for $21? spend over $200 and now gotta stop somewhere else for more food. Service was good but the food wanst the best and portions are very small.

AWFUL!! I should have just believed the negative reviews online when it said overpriced mediocre sushi. That wasn't even the worst part, the customer service was horrific by the sushi chef and the supervisor was just as bad. They served me steaming hot sushi rice with my raw fish (gross). When I simply asked for room temperature sushi rice, the sushi chef said no. I thought this was a super reasonable request. I asked for the supervisor, who came across as an arrogant jerk who basically shrugged it off and blamed everything on miscommunication and said it was a simple request. Forget the fact that I spent 5 minutes going back and forth with the waitress who kept asking for the room temperature sushi rice from the sushi chef, who you could tell just by his demeanor was just as arrogant as the supervisor. Sashimi slices were super expensive, thin and tasted very mediocre. The place is a dump. Our waitress was the best part of the experience. Super nice. She seemed embarrassed by the lack of customer service provided.
