This Cold Stone is honestly such a gem! The workers were super sweet and made my ice cream exactly how I wanted — perfect mix of toppings and super creamy. The energy in the store was so positive, everyone seemed happy to be there which made the experience even better. I usually don’t bother writing reviews, but they really deserve it for how great the service was. Everything was fresh, fast, and delicious. Definitely coming back soon!

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had such an awesome experience here that I had to share! The staff at the Pleasant Hill Cold Stone are seriously the best — super friendly, fast, and always make the ice cream mixes just right. The store’s clean, the vibes are great, and they don’t hold back on the toppings. I got the Birthday Cake Remix and it was amazing. Definitely my favorite Cold Stone location now!

This place is alright. For some reason it feels like every time I've gone here the ice cream hasn't looked good, or really tasted that good. Always just one person out front working, not really much in the store either. It just feels sad to come inside. I wouldn't recommend stopping here. You can get ice cream anywhere else.

The worker dropped the scooper and then rinsed it under water... and continued to scoop peoples ice cream 🤢 Toppings are also super stale

Got my cake delivered by DoorDash today. Outside of the cake doesn’t look like it’s a chocolate cake with green writing. Not sure if I need to unpend my work day since their phone number doesn’t work or what, but it doesn’t seem like they did what I asked and I cannot get a hold of anyone.

I have been there twice now and both times my order was wrong and very small portions. Never again will o go back to this location!!!!

Cold Stone Used to Be Great, But It’s Going Downhill Fast

This location has been going downhill for at least a year, and it’s sad to see a once-loved spot ruin itself with what seems like short-sighted cost-cutting at the expense of customers and staff.

1. Smaller Portions, Higher Prices:
You’re now paying more for less, and the portion sizes have shrunk to the point where it feels like a rip-off. Cold Stone used to be generous, now it feels like they’re rationing every scoop.

2. Poorly Trained Staff:
It’s clear they’re hiring inexperienced workers, likely because they don’t pay well and don’t treat staff right, leading to constant turnover. The result? You get slow service, confused employees, and orders that aren’t even made correctly.

3. Customer Experience Has Tanked:
Employees seem miserable, which makes the whole atmosphere uncomfortable. There’s no energy, no care in making the ice cream, and no effort to actually serve customers well.

4. Management Doesn't Seem to Care:
Whoever is running things clearly thinks cutting costs on quality, service, and staffing is a smart business move, but all they’re doing is pushing away loyal customers. It’s frustrating because locals used to love this place, and now it’s just a disappointment.

Honestly, there are better dessert spots nearby that actually care about quality and service. Unless they wake up and fix their management issues, this location is on track to drive itself into the ground.

For many years we always get our ice cream mixed with 3 Flavors. For some weird reason today 1-18-25 we came to get our usual and we were told by Janet that we are no longer allowed to do that anymore since 2 years ago. Funny thing is we always come here and get always the same!!! Maybe someone above them should clarify that.

They finally take Apple pay! Ordered cookie dough ice cream and it tasted like banana ice cream for some reason. Other than that, worker was nice

I order cookies and cream ice cream cake every year for my kids birthdays but the one I got recently was definitely a whole level below previous ones. The writing on the cake was sloppy and they quartered Oreos on top of the cake- how cheap is that! Not a great looking cake for $50.
