Cold Stone Used to Be Great, But It’s Going Downhill Fast

This location has been going downhill for at least a year, and it’s sad to see a once-loved spot ruin itself with what seems like short-sighted cost-cutting at the expense of customers and staff.

1. Smaller Portions, Higher Prices:
You’re now paying more for less, and the portion sizes have shrunk to the point where it feels like a rip-off. Cold Stone used to be generous, now it feels like they’re rationing every scoop.

2. Poorly Trained Staff:
It’s clear they’re hiring inexperienced workers, likely because they don’t pay well and don’t treat staff right, leading to constant turnover. The result? You get slow service, confused employees, and orders that aren’t even made correctly.

3. Customer Experience Has Tanked:
Employees seem miserable, which makes the whole atmosphere uncomfortable. There’s no energy, no care in making the ice cream, and no effort to actually serve customers well.

4. Management Doesn't Seem to Care:
Whoever is running things clearly thinks cutting costs on quality, service, and staffing is a smart business move, but all they’re doing is pushing away loyal customers. It’s frustrating because locals used to love this place, and now it’s just a disappointment.

Honestly, there are better dessert spots nearby that actually care about quality and service. Unless they wake up and fix their management issues, this location is on track to drive itself into the ground.

For many years we always get our ice cream mixed with 3 Flavors. For some weird reason today 1-18-25 we came to get our usual and we were told by Janet that we are no longer allowed to do that anymore since 2 years ago. Funny thing is we always come here and get always the same!!! Maybe someone above them should clarify that.

They finally take Apple pay! Ordered cookie dough ice cream and it tasted like banana ice cream for some reason. Other than that, worker was nice

I order cookies and cream ice cream cake every year for my kids birthdays but the one I got recently was definitely a whole level below previous ones. The writing on the cake was sloppy and they quartered Oreos on top of the cake- how cheap is that! Not a great looking cake for $50.

Amazing product but horrible service . Loud music is on so when you order anything they ask 2 times and you need to scream . Am I in the night club ?Limited variety . They have 8 sorbets on the website they have only 1 in the store . Last but not least - they don’t take Apple Pay . I needed to go back to my car to get wallet and pay using a regular credit card . Feelings are so mixed and this is our first time here . Strange place .

We have ordered for delivery through DoorDash multiple times. Order is always correct and as fresh as can be considering its ice cream.Great late night treats. Delivery is also super fast. You’re not going to go wrong with anything on the menu. EVERYTHING is a DE-LIGHT.Fan for life over here !

Food good almost as good as those little kids looked. Service wasn’t stand out amazing but would recommend

I'm here from Oklahoma, went here with my family tonight, and the lady that was helping us did not greet us, had an attitude the whole time she was doing our orders and she just seemed mad that she had customers. Cold stone you need to fix this, because an ugly attitude doesn't look good within your company.

What kind of place doesn’t have Apple Pay in 2023? SMH

Never going back again.

I liked the great variety, some flavors need to improve their consistency. And above all, the waiting time is too long, I think it is because of the few staff they have and the high attendance. But excellent service, very friendly and patient. It does make you want to come back, although definitely with more time to wait and enjoy their delicious products, because even in the cold season I crave a delicious ice cream from this place. So I invite you to visit this place, I hope the time and wait will be corrected.

The manager of this location used to give me extremely creepy vibes.
