Went on a Saturday night, before 7. Did not have a reservation for 2. One server said it would be awhile, another offered a two top that needed to be cleaned. We were seated promptly. Clearly it was a shared service, waitstaff and bartenders. Cocktails were decent, appetizers overpriced, 2 crab cakes $18, fried chicken, thighs undercooked, mashed potatoes substituted for an extra $3, salty, fish not served with sauce as on the menu, no offer of dessert, clearly not a focus on architectural details, exposed plugs on the ceiling, loud, tables to close. Not the “Bistro” experience I was expecting for the price point. Better on DoorDash than in person dining 😔

I had seen a very good review on Check Please Bay Area so my wife and I decided to try them for lunch.

The crab cakes didn't taste as fresh as they could but my wife said she didn't detect anything. The Bistro Burger's texture was mushy and sinewy and the fries tasted like they were from the day before. The fried chicken in the chicken sandwich was cooked well but the coating appeared to be just seasoned flour, with not much taste, no crunch, was cooked very well, but the cabbage slaw on top was pretty tasteless. There was a little spice from the jalapeño but that was about it. I requested a side salad instead of the fries with the dressing on the side and it came already dressed. We asked for a lemonade as they claimed it was fresh squeezed but it was cloudy like a mix and the server(?) probably a bus boy filling in, had his hand all over the rim of the glass when he sat it down, without even a straw so we didn't touch it. When I demonstrated how the bus boy sat the glass down for the actual server, she thought the problem was there was no ice in the glass and I had to explain to her he should have held the glass at the bottom when he sat it down. Apparently, she didn't even know how the glass should have been handled. 😖
So disappointed...

I I have eaten here before and the food is always excellent. The service on Sunday October 5 was horrible. It took over an hour to get our food and they kept forgetting our drinks and served us cold coffee. I don’t know if they were short staffed or what was going on, but it was very disappointing and upsetting.

I’ve dined here several times for family dinners, date nights, and outings with friends, and each visit has been consistently excellent with no long waits. The deviled eggs, banana foster pancakes, and fried chicken sandwich are standouts. The staff is super friendly, and the outdoor patio is perfect for nice weather.

Today’s lunch was especially memorable thanks to our wonderful waiter (I'm misspelling his name, but I believe it’s Katzan). He was attentive, upbeat, and truly made our experience so much fun. I’ll definitely be returning! :)

Giving this one a five-star overall, because it's a restaurant worth checking out. Most likely he will come away with a fairly high rating for it as well. To use some fancy food review lingo, the menu seems more curated rather than expansive. So fewer choices but they seem to be better. Ones. Portions are decent, but not particularly large. Large. Pricing is arguably a little bit on the high side in terms of value for the dollar, but not outrageous by any stretch. Again, it's worth taking a look for sure. Will definitely be going back there at some point.

BEYOND EXCELLENT Business Dinner at Crescent Bistro! Chef Zeller made the arrangements incredibly easy from start to finish...food was phenomenal...and the service was top-notch. Our group of 25 enjoyed al fresco dining on their patio and were altogether delighted with the entire experience. Thank you!

Hadca great lunch, BLT with fries, and my guest had a very fresh Ceasar salad. Very friendly, attentive service. Looking forward to a return visit, to try other options and take advantage of their outdoor seating with our dog.

Best Halibut I’ve ever had!! Everything on the plate with Halibut was amazing. I love the food here. My husband and I have gone to their wine and food pairing dinners and they are excellent. They have them once a month. I can’t wait to go back. The cocktails are excellent too! Great wine list. The only thing missing are white tablecloths.

Parking: There is a huge parking lot behind the restaurant where the Ross store is. I’ve been parking there for years.

First we had the pleasantest waiter, Quasare(sp?). He answered our questions and made suggestions and described menu options. Our food—caesar salad, beet salad, short braised ribs and gnocchi was delicious; he even offered to split our dishes for the 4 of us! It was a memorable experience, we’ll be returning!

We did the chefs dinner and I have to say it’s one of the better meals I’ve had. I’ve eaten at a lot of really good restaurants. I would recommend you try it out and I will definitely be returning.

I ordered the avocado toast with chicken. The dish was sooooo oily. Everything was smothered in it. It was too greasy.

Usually have a great experience, but came in on a Saturday and waited for 20 minutes with no acknowledgement from staff. Servers kept walking by but ignoring us. Only person to talk to us was the host who was complaining about big parties earlier in the day, but the restaurant had no more than 10 people in it when we were there. Very disappointed.
