The food was delicious—what there was of it. The portions are the equivalent of a Grindr date with micro-issues.

Decided to try this place on sunday, didnt seem to busy around 12. Took forever to initially get service after being seated, probably about 25 min. We tried the eggs benedict and avocado toast. Food was so bland with no flavor, like the kitchen ran out of salt or seasonings. Definetly wouldnt recommend this place for the prices. Also some utensils and plates we recieved were dirty.

My fiance and I decided to try out a new restaurant for our anniversary so we came here. Photos online looked good. My fiancé got the flat iron steak- said it was ok, I got the mushroom gnocchi- it was a 6.5/10.We also got the spanish artichoke dip which was not the best we've ever had by any means. I also got a glass of wine which was the best part. The issue arise when the waiter let us know he accidentally charged our card with the table next to us bill ($133) while our bill came out to $79.. mistakes happen and we totally get that. Our card was already charged and - $133 came out of our account and we were going to ask the waiter to just give us the difference in cash. Instead of even coming up to us to let us know how he plans on handling it, he charged our card another $79!!Now, we had mediocre food with a $212 bill! He just kept saying it will be refunded, but our bank takes 10 business days for refunds. We asked if there was anything he could do for us such as a discount for the trouble of not having $133 in our account until 10 days and he called the owner who apparently said straight up no! So wild and disappointing. It's the principle of thinking people can just afford to lose $133 for X amount of days. So insensitive.

This was my first time to this restaurant, but I was not disappointed. I have significant food allergies, but I was able to make slight adjustments without any problem, and without any annoyance by our waitress. I had the beet salad and the deviled eggs, and both were delicious. I thought the pricing was fair and a good value for what was served. My salad proportion wise was very large. I would definitely go back if I am in the area.

Best kept secret in downtown Pleasant Hill!Great food, service and clean restaurant! Most dishes and drinks are hand crafted using top quality food. Braised shorts ribs, beet salad and wine/beer was fantastic. Love the hand made spices, bitters and sauces very original.

What a cute little spot! Definitely a busy area, at least on Sundays. The servers are just a delight, and the food is amazing.

The food was just okay, nothing to write home about. The fried chicken was a bit undercooked and kinda bland. On the flip side, the pork buns were pretty good and saved the meal from being a total letdown.
