Always a great choice for Mediterranean fast food
Worst Mediterranean food I’ve ever had. Food is BITTER even the hummus and cucumber salad which are very difficult to mess up. Wanted to try a new spot in pleasant hill but never again.
Let me know when they fix their plumbing and get rid of bitter taste. As another said there is a sewage smell. Still! Ten months later.
Food was fresh although there was a very bitter taste from something. The eggplant I believe was too charred. Also I'd expect lamb or shawarma with a name like this.
Is overpriced. Because I added feta the bowl was $20!
Gotta Eatta Pita in Pleasant Hill is a fantastic spot for fresh, delicious Mediterranean food. Located in the heart of Pleasant Hill downtown, it’s a convenient and inviting place to grab a quick yet satisfying meal.
Their pita sandwiches and bowls are packed with flavorful, high-quality ingredients, and the variety of fresh salads and toppings make every bite amazing. The falafel is crispy and well-seasoned, the chicken is juicy and tender, and the hummus is incredibly smooth and creamy. Portions are generous, making it a great value for the price.
Beyond the food, the restaurant is clean, the service is friendly, and the ordering process is quick and efficient—perfect for a casual lunch or dinner. Whether you’re a fan of Mediterranean cuisine or just looking for a healthier fast-casual option, Gotta Eatta Pita is a must-try!
The food was decent, but not good enough that I would go back. Also over priced.
Enjoyed G.E.P. catering for a birthday party. Everything was fresh and delicious. I did see other reviews mentioned lack of salt - that doesn't bother us as we have some heart conscious folks who require low sodium so those that added salt did - versus people not being able to enjoy the food altogether. Top notch! Will revisit this establishment again!
The portion size was great, and the staff were friendly. It’s also nice to have plenty of veggies included. However, the food felt a bit lacking in flavor- seems like it could use a little bit more seasoning. I would recommend adding a bit of salt to taste.
This place is absolutely amazing‼️
If you're that health-conscious type that doesn't want to feel guilty about over indulging, this is the place to go.
Everything is so fresh and the staff are very friendly

You're gonna spend $20 for food and a drink, but at least it's really good. They do skimp on the tahini sauce a bit though, wish it was protocol to put it throughout the wrap, and not just like icing on the top.

So so unfortunate what has happened here ! This Gotta Eatta Pitta location used to be so good!! The manager more than 6 months ago was great and friendly and consistent with serving good food.. now the workers in there don’t care! And there is this TERRIBLE SMELL when you walk in that just made me want to turn around. Like fresh sewage is brewing in the back .. what’s that about ?
Any ways it’s been a really long time since I’ve been there so I went in to get a falafel pita and the woman there had long brown hair and she proceeded to take the old falafels and take them to the trash… but the she goes and puts the side of the metal FOOD CONTAINER and sets the side of it on the trash can while pouring out old falafels. Letting the food container touch the trash can. As soon as I saw that I knew the place has gone bad and turned around and let her know nevermind and walked out.
They need a
- plumber in there to fix that disgusting smell
- new management to hold the workers accountable
And
- hygiene training for the employees!!
(If that woman was able / comfortable doing that in front of a customer what else do they do in the kitchen ?!). ?
Will not be back there !! So sad because it used to be delicious quality food..

Service was great! Staff was very kind and helpful :) Food was pretty good too! My biggest gripe is that the organic mixed greens weren't super fresh and the price is somewhat high ($15-20ish per person if you just get a bowl or pita)
