Great food, friendly staff. A variety of delicious Cajun fries with different seafood hits the spot. And don’t forget to grab some jumbalaya!

Got my order wrong, and the fries I did eat were overcooked and hard to chew. Another problem was how every dish they serve gives heart burn and stomach pain.

Waited 30 mins for the wrong order, won't be going back there anytime soon. Clearly said 50/50 and something completely different.

Very good customer service and food. The atmosphere was peaceful and very clean. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and he's so down to earth. The catfish is a must!!!!

From the moment I walked in the owner greeted me and made the experience personal. The food is always hot and fresh. The restaurant is always clean and the food never takes longer than it should when it’s being prepared. I’ve always had amazing service and have never regretted lunch at any of the SOCO locations. Big shoutout to the SOCO team for always going the extra mile to make sure the quality of food and service is top tier.Kid-friendliness: I always see parents with their kids at this location. It never looks like it’s an inconvenience.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to enter, sit and leave.

This was my first time eating at this restaurant which I thought would have ended in a wonderful date night with my spouse. The food was horrible. The Gumbo base tasted like chili, The catfish was over fried and hard the batter was a thick cornmeal and pepper not to mention they were the size of small chicken strips. The Cajun Carb fries was very dry and overly salty. This is an insult to southern food particularly Louisiana cuisine. Disgusting ?

Quick service. Much to choose from, so go with a group to try a little of everything. Offers a military discount. Definitely will be back to get a taste of NOLA.

Came here for lunch around 11:45 am. Found it odd that there were 3 other tables being used by a total of 4 people. Read the menu from outside but no pictures OR prices. I guess they think that are above that. Ha ha. I ordered the chicken and sausage jambalaya and a brown sugar lemonade. The wait got my good was very short, probably because the lack of other customers. It was basically about 3 scoops of flavored rice with a stingy amount of chicken and sausage, maybe 3 small pieces of each. No garnish, no green onions...,nothing. What irritated me the most was that it was luke warm at best. I guess if the cook knew me as well as the man that came in after me, maybe I would have received decent food. $13 for basically a bowl or red spicy rice and a lemonade. On top of it, no one says "hello" when you come in or good bye when you leave. It's basically a "what do you want, give me your money and I will give you sub par food." Will I be back??? No. There are so many other choices where food is good and service is better.

Is the phone number ? provided ever working? Busy location that is clearly understaffed on any day. Gumbo needs work. Besides that the food is Miss'Sippi

This was our 1st time at Southern Comfort Kitchen. We absolutely loved the food!! We had dinner on a Saturday. My husband and I ordered the hush puppies which were simply delicious, the flavors and the light crispness. The SoCo house salad was delightfull as well as a big serving. The jambalaya was authentic as I compare it to New Orleans style, very flavorful and a satisfying portion. The fried chicken was excellent too. Very tender with the crust perfectly cooked. It was a great experience. The food was as good as in New Orleans, and the service was top notch too. The decor and ambience brought us to NO. We will definitely be back very soon.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I've ordered takeout a couple of times from here. Both times we've ordered take-out, they forgot one item from our order and we didn't realize the omission till we got home. Unfortunately, the phone number on the receipt and various websites leads to a car dealership. Moral of the story, check your order before you leave the restaurant. Btw, the food is decent. Crawfish etouffe is tasty (when you actually get it). Unfortunately, just wish the bread they served it with was toasted. Po'boys are equally tasty, just a little oversauced. Hard to taste the protein through all that sauce. If you're in the area, worth a try. Just remember to double check your to-go order.
