Wow, such an unexpected gem of a sushi place!! The staff were very friendly and attentive, and everything we ordered was delicious.
We ordered:
- garlic edamame
- chicken karage
- salmon carpaccio
- hamachi carpaccio
- spicy tuna hand roll
- super (ebi, crab, eel) hand roll

Absolutely delicious, fresh ingredients, and everything was brought out staggered and timely.

The food was fresh, well-prepared, and nicely presented. The sushi had great flavor, and the variety on the menu offered plenty of appealing choices. Service was also attentive and reasonably quick, which made the dining experience enjoyable.

However, one issue stood out and affected my rating. The table menu was noticeably dirty, with visible smudges and stains. This detail took away from the otherwise pleasant atmosphere and raised some concerns about cleanliness standards.

Overall, it’s a solid place for sushi with tasty dishes and good service, but improving cleanliness—especially of items like menus—would make a big difference.

The waitresses were absolutely amazing and gracious. The food my family and I ordered was delivered cautiously and it was top notch. The atmosphere was a warm welcoming place. I personally recomend coming here either with yourself or with family, either way, you'll have a pleasant time there.

I worked in Walnut Creek from 2010 to 2012. Yokoso Sushi was my favorite place to go for lunch. Every time my husband and I are in Walnut Creek, we go to Yokoso Sushi. My favorite is Fuji roll, it's absolutely delicious. That's why we keep coming back for 13 years. We have not been able to find a comparable Sushi place in San Jose. San Jose has good Sushi, but no place we tried comes close to Yokoso Sushi in Pleasant Hill. Yokoso Sushi is a gem: small place, great food, and good service. Can't go wrong with that.

One of our favorite local spots! The fish is always fresh and all of their food is really good! Our favorites were the 49er, phoenix, and pleasant hill roll. Great family owned restaurant that is always clean with kind service! 10/10 recommend!

Walked in for a quick takeout lunch, ordered a Chirashi Bowl from a young lady who was very nice. While I was waiting, another nice young lady offered me something to drink, hot tea, water. I declined, few minutes later she brought my order and asked if I needed anything else, and thanked me for coming in. I know, I'm supposed to be reviewing the food... My chirashi was fantastic! I just had to write about the service! Well done Yakoso!
