Yokoso Japanese Restaurant

This is a great sushi restaurant! I highly recommend this sushi spot, great sushi, great service and the atmosphere is amazing. Definitely one of the best sushi spots in the Concord area. Try this place out! You won't be disappointed. 👍

Great small restaurant. We came for a late lunch at about 5 and we surprisingly were the only customers and had all attention from the staff. It was our second visit there and we’ll definitely come again, everything is A++. The food is so fresh and well prepared. And the cost is so modest, about $15 for most meals. I consider this place as a hidden gem. Thank you, Yokosuka for such great experience

This is my favorite Japanese restaurant in pleasant Hill. I usually go for the bento box with Donkatsu. Good food, friendly service, nice people. Easy parking.

The restaurant has new owners and they definitely spruced up the place. It is more open, light and airy. The chef is the same so the food is still excellent. The new staff is friendly and eager to serve including allowing for food not specifically on the menu. The only drawback is that prices have been increased substantially, i.e. $3 per roll. Still recommend it though. Great food!

really yummy sushi, a lot of variety on the menu, nice clean and spacious environment, super fast and kind service :))) all of the rolls we ordered were tasty and well-priced, i am so happy to have happened upon this place!

Food is always delicious and staff are always friendly and attentive

So we seldom go anywhere without our dog and obviously dogs are not allowed in restaurants. We noted they had one table out front. It's actually in front of See's Candy. We asked if they could serve us out there and they had no problem doing it. They did ask us to pay up front, which I can certainly understand because if you're outside and they're not keeping an eye on you, you could dine and dash. But we paid up front including the tip we had outstanding service. We were outside with our puppy and they even brought her a bowl of water. So I love this place. I love the fact that they're adaptable to whatever your needs are and the food is really really good!

If you have a decent palate, then this isn’t the place for you. The other sushi establishments in the area are better.

Ordered sushi and a variety of other side dishes, was greeted by a woman when I arrived and their customer service was great from beginning to the end, food was okay, tasted fresh

the food is always great as well as the staff and ambiance. It is a little pricey here, but it's close in proximity to my home, and the food is great. I do go here often.

Parking: Parking does fill up quickly some days, because of the other restaurants.

This sushi place is very near to my office. I have gotten lunch and dinner there off and on for many years now. The fish is good quality, and everyone there is so very nice. I almost always get takeout, but their restaurant is very pleasant for indoor seating, and the service is warm and friendly.

Dietary restrictions: I am celiac, and they are always very accommodating with gluten-free soy sauce. They are also happy to adapt rolls for you if you ask. I usually enjoy sashimi the most so it’s not a huge issue for me.

The service was great, with warm and friendly staff, supper attentive throughout my stay. I tried the Long Beach sushi, which was decent but not extraordinary. The ambient background music added a nice touch, although it was a bit warm inside since the AC wasn't on. It was bearable, but if you prefer a cooler environment, requesting the AC to be turned on might be a good idea! ?
