This restaurant is one of several in an upscale "food court". It is easy to miss & I'm glad I didn't. You can dine in cafeteria style, totally casual or take out. For a family with mixed tastes this would be ideal so everyone can get what they want. The two dishes I had, I really enjoyed. The spicy dumplings were soft & tasty with just the right amount of heat. Ten pieces may not seem like a lot but paired with the bao it could be two meals. The bao had well seasoned beef, cilantro & chives. The bun was soft & spongy like it should be. It was the perfect lunch for me! Service was friendly. The dining area was clean & comfortable. There are more interesting items on the menu. I'll definitely have to come back!

Had their Taiwan beef noodle. Soup is on the lighter/flavor side. Which is a good balance. Noodles are cooked well, slightly chewy but not soft. The beef was very tender!

Love the food! Very authentic Taiwanese food great service and very clean. They were definitely not stingy with the beef in the beef soup noodle! Every item in the menu is very high quality Will recommend this place to all My friends and family!

After having tried the beef noodle soup here, I now know why it has the rating it does. The highlight is the beef, tripe and tendon, which soaked up all the flavors and were tender and juicy. You also get a lot of this quality meat. The soup is nice and flavorful but doesn't have the spices you'd find in a typical Taiwaneses beef noodle soup. The noodle is fine as well but not the star of the show. I had it on Friday and came back for two more bowls on Saturday - that's how good it was.

I seriously do not understand why this place has a low rating. This is the best taiwanese resto I found in the bay area!!! Authentic! We ordered their beef noodle soup sooo good!! soup tasted so beefy & generous portions of beef shank, tendon & tripe! We also ordered their guapao!! so tasty!! love the peanut sauce inside! the prices were not bad at all! We got an extra tripe ala carte dish because it was so good! Will definitely be back here!! Hope they open more stores so we do not have to drive 30mins to go here!

Nice spot in the shopping center. Fast service. Noodles feel good in the mouth like it’s hand tossed but it’s not, friendly staff as well. Just the place needs a little TLC. They have boxes everywhere in the seating area. Like it’s a storage but we sit there also. Kind of crowded.

Casual take out with seating, there was no waiting and was pretty easy to get a table. I ordered the beef noodle soup and the broth was light and there was hefty portions of beef. The meat was soft and chewy, with the perfect texture and light flavoring. Service was quick and the Asian uncle who took my order brought my food to me which was really sweet. Come here for homey food if you need your fix of Taiwanese cuisine.

Got the beef gua bao buns and the cold noodles with veggies. Both had this really awesome toasted sesame/ kind of sweet sauce in them. The buns came with some pickles and cilantro, while the noodles had fresh carrots and cucumbers. All of it was delicious. The buns were kind of on the smaller side for a complete meal.

Ahhh my family was so excited to try this place since they're from Taiwan but it was disappointing :( we got their special beef noodle soup which the cashier said was their #1 seller, minced pork over rice, a few cold dishes, and some drinks. The beef noodle soup tasted watered down but at least the beef was soft. The minced pork over rice was a disappointment, I was expecting it to be like the one in Taiwan where they mix the pork and rice together since that's what the cashier told us it would be like. The cold dishes were okay. Overall, way too expensive for meh food. I wouldn't recommend...

Take this review with a grain of salt. Not having tried Taiwanese food before I can't compare it to any other Taiwanese place. I can only give my impressions. For my American palette the flavors were very different but not unappealing.I decided to be adventurous and try the pig ears and I didn't hate the flavor but the texture turned me off a bit.Maybe there is something else on the menu I didn't try that I would love. Hard to say. Any time you experiment with an entirely new culture's cooking it takes time and experiences with different menu items to find those things that you will come back for.

It is not authentic Taiwan beef noodle. Kind of on the lighter favor side. It is kind of pricy for a bowl of beef noodle soup. Their side dishes are pretty though.

Great chew on the noodles, also good flavor overall on this dish. There's a fair amount of dried fish, scallops, cucumber, and tiny shrimp for flavor and it pairs well with the sesame sauce on this dish. If you find yourself conflicted because of the mixed reviews on their beef noodle soup, consider getting this, "Dried Scallop Fish and Shrimp with XO sauce (Taiwan style)" — aka their B11.I hardly ever write reviews, but seeing the current 3.8 feels really unfair towards the restaurant's food and the service they provided us in our experience.

The FoodI've been to Pacific Food Hall quite a few times, but haven't got a chance to try Bandao Beef Noodle until now. This is a beef noodle soup place, so of course I ordered their Bandao Signature 3 in 1 Beef Noodle Soup (招牌三宝汤面). This I believe has beef shank, beef tendon, and beef tripe. It is also topped with vegetables along with the noodles. The flavor was good, and there was a good amount of ingredients. The noodles are also cooked well, there's a good bite to them, not too soft, not too hard. They also have a variety of other dishes that are not bad. My friend got the Sweet & Sour Cucumber and the Pork Dumpling with Green Chives to try.The MiscellaneousThe restaurant itself is in a food court with a shopping plaza, so it is not visible from the outside. There is plenty of parking available within the plaza itself. The restaurant does have its own small dining area. But you can dine at the public area of the food court as well. The service and staff was good, standard, nothing to complain about. They have a decent sized menu with many types of dishes to select from. Other than noodle soup, they also have dry noodles, rice, dumplings, side dishes, and more. The prices are also average, with some things on the slightly higher end. I would come back again to try their other dishes if I have a chance.

Beef noodle soup- the beef was very soft and tender. Other than that, nothing very special about it. Spicy pig ears cold noodles- wasn't spicy at all. It was peanut sauce mixed with soba, veggies, and pig ears. Beef honeycomb tripes- again, very very soft. A little too soft for me. Not a whole lot of flavors. Was just okay. Overall, the food here was just okay. However, it seemed a bit overpriced. Not sure if I will go back again.

Very traditional cooked Taiwan beef noodles and small plate. Great services. Loved the tripe and bamboos. Right across from San Francisco Premium outlet. A must stop place for food.
