This is a small shop with a lot of heart and craftsmanship. The flavors and ingredients are fresh and strong. The gentleman that works the counter alone takes the time to take orders and also make the items on his own. Kamurocho has an unassuming air that feels like home. It is very simply decorated with chosen items like postage stamps and pokemon cards. Something about that is quite charming. I still need to try all their items but so far the crown jewel has been the shaved ice which is the most decadent, light, balanced dessert I have ever had. They shave the ice into snowflake light layers mixed with the shops custom creme blend and toppings. It's instantly refreshing and satisfying. The drinks have layered complex flavors. You can tell they use quality matcha and fresh fruits unlike other places that just dump in a few pumps of syrup. I really like this place and will definitely come back a third time.

Got the Dirty Masala Chai and Tiramisu Shaved Ice. Absolutely loved the flavors. The owner makes the shaved ice by hand so it takes a minute but it's absolutely worth it. It's softer than snow and so refreshing. This place is definitely worth visiting!

The place is tacky and the worst part is that the lady serving us was rude. She was unwilling to give us cups and spoons to share the shaved ice with the kids and the whole experience was just so unwelcoming. We also had to wait long. Better spend money somewhere else.
I ordered the simplest thing, a cappuccino. What I got was a burned coffee drink that was so steaming hot that I was unable to even hold it on my hand. I ended up throwing it on the trash as I refused to burn my mouth with it. The lady who made it, while she was sweet, unfortunately she didn't know when to stop steaming milk, so sje kept going until the drink was ruined. Too bad they charge $5 for something that is not drinkable.

This is hands-down my favorite shave ice shop! The ice is incredibly fine – truly the best texture you can get. I love that they use fresh ingredients instead of artificial dyes and sugary syrups. My only wish? More unique flavors, like black sesame!
