This Italian restaurant is nicely located on Main St in Pleasanton. The food was very tasty, and the service was very good. The 3-course nightly special was nicely proportioned with a salad, main entree and dessert, all reasonably priced. Definitely worth a visit.

Went here for Mother's Day Brunch. When making the reservation or looking through the listing, there was no indication that it would be a buffet (we expected there would be a menu to order from).
Food and service were just OK. About half of the buffet selections were good and the other half were not great.
It was also a bit too windy inside, from all the windows being open.

Tonight, i enjoyed trying somewhere new again. I was lucky to grab one of the few seats in the bar and was greeted by the kindest bar keep, Linda. She welcomed me the way someone might into their home. I noticed she treated everyone this way, and everyone in the whole restaurant seemed to know her, too. What a great vibe! I enjoyed the fresh, warm bread served with rich oil and vinegar topped with crushed garlic while i waited for my crab cakes. When they came, they were soft and wonderful and tasted so fresh and mild. They were not over crushed together, and you could tell these had not been in a fridge overnight even. Next, i had their Mista salad. The candied nuts complimented the bitter greens nicely, and the salad had just the right amount of dressing. All the ingredients were so fresh, and I was so pleased with the atmosphere and even had a lovely conversation with some locals. I'll be back for sure and highly recommend coming to eat here. Just a wonderful eatery.
We had a large group. We were in a private room. The staff was over the top friendly. The food was excellent. I would recommend this place for any special occasion.

Always a consistently enjoyable experience whenever we dine at Pasta's. If I had one point to make it would be the table directly in front of the buffet is a mess to get around and I can't believe the people sitting at the table would be happy. Very inconvenient. But the food was good, the service was good - we sat outside, and it was a perfect dining experience - the weather was great and it was quieter outside than inside. Would recommend and would go again!

We held a celebration for my mother-in-law‘s 80th birthday party at Pastas Trattoria this past weekend and it was a fantastic experience. Linda Bush did a great job, organizing the event for us and setting up all of the needed catering and room reservations and all of the organizing of the event so we could throw a party for 20 of our friends and family to celebrate my Mom’s birthday. The food was excellent and the service was fast and friendly by Heather and John.. They were both kind and professional. I would highly recommend utilizing Pastas Trattoria for a large party or a family gathering, they were easy to work with and they were fun and professional.
