Abundant sandwiches and treats which were all delicious. We felt let down with several pots of black tea that were very weak and packaged candy for the kids that appeared to be leftover from the bottom of a Halloween bag. Staff appeared overworked and harried, not cheerful as you would hope. Recommend going during a less busy time. Very crowded which led to a hectic not relaxing experience.
I’ve been here several of times and been meaning to write a review. This place should be 5 stars. From the food, ambiance, and service! My server Sam and Maddy were beyond amazing! Gabby the owner is so welcoming as well. For the price you truly get value. Everything is baked freshly daily and it truly shows. Most other tea houses I’ve been too you can tell they just use frozen foods but over here you can truly see the quality. I highly reccomend and just make sure to get there a little bit earlier to make sure you find parking. Also, note when you make a reservation they will take a deposit but it will be deducted from the total!
My family and I had the best experience here. it’s honestly the best tea house in the bay area! everything tastes so fresh and delicious! definitely go to the holiday high tea. it is $10 more expensive but the tier is beyond deluxe!
Their website is horrible, no pricing, no online reservations, no full menu of what food is offered other than the tea menu. Can you please provide more information online cause I’m not calling. It’s 2024.
Visited The Tea Room with my cousin from New York, and we had a delightful time! Enjoyed the tea, delicious food, and the fabulous interiors that truly made us feel like we were in Britain. The service was outstanding, adding to the wonderful experience. Highly recommend for a charming and authentic tea experience!

Cute local high tea shop. Food was average but service was good and attentive. They also have huge variety of tea selections.

After returning from London for a family vacation, my wife loved having high tea there.
For her birthday, we decided to take her to Royal TEA Garden as a special gift and a reminder of the fantastic time we had on vacation.
We were not disappointed.
If you have ever been to England and had tea service, you will enjoy this!
Very authentic.
An amazing selection of tees that are bottomless. You get to have multiple kettles at the table with different flavors and you can change them out at any time.
The atmosphere is very cute.
Service was excellent, and the quality of everything was on par. If you’d like to experience English tea without going to England, this is a good spot. Highly recommended.

Everything was excellent except the price. There were a total of 4 diners when my daughter brought me here for my 70th birthday. There was also a random $25 service charge, I thought junk fees were no longer allowed. Don't go here, it's really cute but not worth the price.

This was an excellent tea experience. The staff is friendly and helpful. The tea is some of the best I’ve had. The food was delicious, I was too full to eat the desserts but I brought them home to eat later. They were delicious and the carrot cake cupcake was the best I’ve ever had. I will definitely be going back.

I have been here a total of 3 times so far. Twice now for my birthday. The tea is great and the foods alright. The service needs some work however and that is why I am rating it 3 stars. Our first two visits were full of awkward interactions which is fine we ignored it, but our most recent visit in October for me and my friends birthday was just too much and it makes me not want to return. When stating we were present for our reservation there was a moment of them just staring at us. I didn't know what else to give them other than name and time so I asked if they needed to see the confirmation which then prompted them to check for it and seat us.Then after checking the order with us 3 times they gave us the wrong tea. We ordered peaches and cream and each time they said peaches and cream as did we but we received cookies and cream. We felt awkward asking for a replacement once we realized because no one was really checking in on us and after the first interaction we were already made to feel like a bother. We did bring a cake and macarons for a picnic we were going to do for me and my friend to blow candles out at at a local park after. I did specify we would not be eating them there we just didn't want to have them melt in the car and they had told us that was fine. My friend was getting ready to leave so I went to point out the macarons and asked her if she wanted me to bring some to the car so she could take some with her. As I was showing her the flavors we were immediately told if we served them we would be charged a plating fee. I reminded staff we didn't want to serve them and apologized for the confusion, I told them we would be happy to take them outside if she wanted some but I was just showing my friend what we had through the clear top of the box. She seemingly ignored what I said and at no point in this conversation was her tone polite and she progressively got more agitated with me over what felt like a nothing issue and all of my friends were really weirded out by the way she handled it. My friend got so uncomfortable she just didn't want them anymore so that the situation could be over.I will be looking for another tea room to celebrate my birthday moving forward as right after someone hit my car outside of the place so both the bad service and bad experience right after has really put a damper on me wanting to return haha. This place does a bad job at making you feel welcome in their establishment.
