Strizzi's Restaurant, the service is top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who are happy to recommend their favorite dishes. The food! The bread, pasta is freshly made, and the sauces are simmered to perfection.Overall, recommend Strizzi's Restaurant for anyone craving Italian cuisine. The prices are on par with other downtown restaurants and the portions are reasonable

My experience at Strizzi’s was wonderful! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with a smile and seated almost immediately. The server was very attentive and answered our questions. I went with the spaghetti and meatballs and it was delicious! The meatballs were amazing, the sauce was great, and the clam chowder was something I’d expect from New England. Will definitely come back to try their other entrees.

My 1st time eating here and I wasn't disappointed. The waitress was AWESOME. Her recommendation of the steelhead trout was a straight win. The trout had a slight char to the skin which enhanced the flavor. The trout was well seasoned. The vegetables were cooked perfectly. The mashed potatoes were a win. Definitely a 10/10 meal.

Trout dinner was great. Gin and tonic was in a glass that was twice as big as it should have been, odd. Good location, close to firehouse center.

The host greeted us warmly and our waiter was very funny and personable. My glass of wine was a heavier pour which I appreciated and both the hubby and I really enjoyed our dishes - the cioppinno and the Italians sausage pappardelle. Highly recommend and will be going back!

Amazing family-owned and operated Italian restaurant! It’s all in the sauce and service!! Reasonable prices, a caring owner who founded Strizzi’s which is named after his Italian grandma and an excellent wait staff! This is your local eatery you’ll return to each time!

Lauren, our server, did an outstanding job managing multiple tables, 6 tables at the time when we were there. She was prompt and very pleasant considering how busy it was in the restaurant. The food was very good. We will definitely return.

I first went to Strizzis in San Leandro over 30 years ago. I discovered this one when I was in Pleasanton a couple of years back. I really enjoyed the food and so I brought my family for lunch. The lunch menu was great as you can have a smaller portion of pasta with a soup or salad. I got the apple and pecan salad and the shrimp and artichoke pasta. Both were very good. Our server Leanne was excellent and took care of my hungry teenagers with bread and drinks right after we arrived. Thank you for a great dining experience today!

We were a group of 11. Fortunately the place was not that crowded for the New Year's Eve, service was great (thanks Marisol) and we got some good suggestions on the food choices. Everything was hot and fresh, the bread refills came in and were just right. Between the pastas, risotto and the soups and salads, we had a great time.

I had the grilled trout special that had potential if it wasn't overcooked, perhaps the result of sitting underneath the warming lights for too long? My wife's lasagne, on the other hand, was at less than optimal temperature. It's a tiny space and we had to choose between a high-top by the door on chilly night, 47 in Pleasanton, or a cramped location on the wall where you were in contact with the chair of the person behind you. We chose warmth. We were a walk-in of two on Friday, so there's that. Our server was friendly and did their job, no complaints here.Parking: Street parking will be challenging on nights and possibly on Saturdays.

The 2 stars are for the creepy men in the kitchen who stared at me the entire time I was in the restaurant. Thank goodness our server Dolores was such a sweetheart and made our experience wonderful despite me feeling uncomfortable because of the cooks’ constant staring. Thank you Dolores! Maybe management can have a word with the cooks about not staring at women that are just trying to enjoy their meal.
