Went here for dinner and the edamame had a few rotten pieces that tasted really bad. There was also a hair in my sushi. We ordered four things and were there for about thirty minutes max. Paid in cash, they broke it into twenties didn’t have singles to leave a tip and the service/food wasn’t great anyways so we just left. The waitress chased us out of the restaurant to the car demanding a tip and screaming. Extremely unprofessional behavior and we will not be coming back.

The food was ample and delicious. However the entrance should be cleared of paper ads so the interior of the restaurant is more visible and inviting.

Cashier is super rude. Horrible attitude. I wouldn’t go again even though the food is okay.

This is my favorite sushi restaurant in Pleasanton. I like to eat here for lunch, it is not crowded and has a good selection of fresh fish. I always go for some nigiri, I love the Uni w/ Quail Egg, Aji, Kanpachi, Tamago, and Maguro. The Red Mountain Roll is my favorite, I also like the Four Seasons and Salmon Lover. I would highly recommend trying this place if you are in the area. The staff here is great and very friendly.

Super rude. Would not sit us in an unreserved table. We were two adults with three small children. Not family friendly at all.

We were happily stuffed with Combo B! Quality & selection good. More than enough for 3 adults. I’m glad the American name on a sushi restaurant did not stop us from going ?

Never knew about this place. Tasty dishes, enjoyed the 4 seasons roll in particular, nice selection, servers were on-point. Will be back soon to try more of the menu.

Arrived Friday night at 7:30pm. We know this is very busy times. Four tables available, a couple of parties before us and the waiting list shows 12 parties waiting. Three waitresses and they were running around clueless not knowing if they should greet guests (no one greeting any of us), clean the tables (one of the tables was not cleaned) or serve the existing 15 tables. If you want to go to a dysfunctional restaurant and wait, by all means go. I asked one of the employees how long is the wait and she said 30 mins. We left as I told her the waiting list had 11 parties in front of us, is this really a 30 mins wait? She got a little upset I asked that so we left. I get it, it's busy. Which is what all restaurants want. If you are disorganized, dysfunctional, and clueless how to run a busy restaurant, at a min, greet your guest.

Been to Wayne's Sushi Bistro a few times and have always had something I liked. Recently tried the specials: Zuki Blue Fin Tuna, Uncle Rock Roll, and The Pink Lady all are nice. The Zuki and the Pink Lady stand out among these, great flavors, good size, and they come out quick. I like the Uncle Rock Roll components, would be nice to see bluefin on top. In past visits I have also had the tempura and the chicken teriyaki. Tempura is ok, it comes out hot and doesn't have off flavors, the crispy factor is a little off. The chicken teriyaki is very good and from my memory the portion size is large. Two people ordering an appetizer, 3 rolls and a couple glasses of wine and tea comes in a little high on price. The service is pretty good, for the volume of people going in and out they sometimes take a little long to check on your second drink needs. The decor isn't all that but it's not the reason to come here.

Super dynamite roll stole the show; it was the surprising best tasting roll. Lion king roll and mango salmon roll (I forgot the real name for it) were pretty good. I'd definitely come back.

Came by with my parents! We got sat down right away. The customer service is very minimal. Takes your order and brings the food out. Veggie tempura was pretty standard, can never go wrong. the oysters are tiny, pretty fresh with a dab of siracha. 14 piece sashimi: pretty good, not the freshest I've had. Has a little gummy texture. Rolls: Kamakaze roll Snow White - love the white tuna (this one was my favorite!) Rainbow - can never go wrong with this one, you get a variety of fish and avocado + imitation crab! Spicy Scallop hand roll
