I heard good things about their beer but honestly I wasn't expecting it to be that much better than your average small town brewery. The guy pouring was super nice and let me try a couple before deciding and even chatted about where the hops came from which I thought was a cool touch. I grabbed the IPA and it was honestly so crisp and balanced, not just a bitter bomb like some places do, and it went perfect with their pretzel. The whole place has a really relaxed vibe, kind...
Luckily we bumped into Paul at Sacramento Brewfest, at Health Heart Park, Sac Republic.
12 or so breweries set up in the lot.
The Night Hike Porter was absolutely the best beer on show…but I do prefer dark beers.
My 5 star rating is based on our experience there, not visiting the brewery but based on our interactions I can only expect the same there.

Love the deep hop red! Perfect combo of malt and hops. Not the friendliest folks behind the bar though. I noticed the same thing the last time I was there. Especially the guy with the dodgers hat. I visited today between 2:30-4p. Just worth noting bc some friendlier service would go a long way.
