SLO 2 20 Winery, a charming spot in Amador, is owned and operated by a friendly retired engineer couple. Guests are warmly welcomed, often meeting the owners who are also the farmers, winemakers, and pourers. Tastings include complimentary snacks, and the homemade olive oil is a delightful addition. The 2018 Zin is particularly favored by visitors. The atmosphere is inviting and the owners' passion is evident, making it a memorable experience even for those who might not favor the wine. Visitors enjoy sitting in Adirondack chairs while snacking on cheese and tasting fantastic wines. The hospitality is exceptional, with the owners, Mark and Marget, being wonderful hosts who are very kind and fun to chat with. Many guests feel like they are simply enjoying drinks with friends on the patio. SLO 2 20 Winery is a must-visit for its excellent blending techniques and enjoyable ambiance, and it has become one of the favorite wineries for many, with members returning regularly.
