We did not enjoy this area. Give two tickets for two taste or use both tickets for a half of a glass. They are very small and not really people people if you know what I mean. They need happier staff.

I wish I could give this winery no stars. When my Asian American walked into the tasting room she greeted the employee behind the bar and received no greeting at all, only a cold stare, When the rest of us (all Caucasian women) walked into tasting room, the same employee gave us a forced greeting like we were intruding. We are all well groomed, mannered ladies so there was nothing in our appearance or attitude to give the employee bad vibes. Her bad attitude continued during the tasting giving us the feeling that she was forcing herself to serve us. We left the tasting early as we couldn't bear anymore rudeness from this employee. There was only a handful of people tasting at this winery while the rest of the wineries we visited were busy but the employee provided us with cheerful, excellent service

Incredible wine. The venue is simple, but I'm here for the wine.

Save your money and support the plethora of other wineries in Amador that deserve your business! A group of friends and I recently tried Terre Rouge as part of our Annual friends trip to "Behind the Cellar Door". Upon entering we weren't greeted with the warm and fuzzies. There were 7 of us all in our later 30's and 40's- not young, wild kids. We were seated in the back to do our tastings. You could tell from the get-go the staff didn't seem thrilled to have us there. We were all enjoying our time amongst ourselves.. not being loud and obnoxious. Simply conversing and chatting about the day! My husband had brought in a beer because he does not like wine. He did not realize that wasn't allowed as he had brought it with him to other wineries and we are newer to California. Nevertheless, not a big deal, he now knows it's not ok and respects the rules/law.That being said, when the owner realized he had a beer she stomped over and scolded him as if he was a child and demanded that she was going to have to "take his glass." It was so bizarre we all initially thought she was joking.Like I said, he didn't realize this was wrong and he was happy to pour it out. There were a plethora of other ways to request him to get rid of it without being so rude and still appreciating our business. Mind you, we bought cases of wine at other wineries! After the owner went and dumped his glass and then returned with it in a huff.. she quickly exclaimed that they could "no longer serve us because we were loud and we came in a party bus!" What?! This is laughable.. Again, we were nothing but respectful our whole time there.. enjoying each others company and tasting wine. Then, a party bus? I'm guessing she means the bus we came in that isn't a party bus, but, a yearly van rental company we use to take us from winery to winery so that we we can have a good time safely. Perhaps next year we should drive ourselves drunk?! Those comments were absurd. All in all the wines were sub par and the ownership is beyond terrible. The way they treat customers is beyond rude and they obviously don't appreciate people that want to come in and enjoy each others company!

I don’t know why, but this was my first time tasting here. A very solid lineup of wine, I will be back regularly!

Their wines were all really good! Service and a cozy kitty made this visit special.

10/10 experience. The atmosphere, wine and staff are amazing. This was my first time visiting and I was so impressed. The wines are amazing, which comes at no surprise since they have multiple 100 point wines (which we bought).

We have been enjoying Terre Rouge/Easton's fabulous wines for over 20 years. While winemaker Bill Easton's Rhone-style wines (Syrahs and Rosés) get the most accolades, his Zinfandels, Barberas, Vermentinos, and Savigon Blancs are exceptionally good!

Visiting Sierra Foothills has always been my idea. The impact of the epidemic has blocked my trip. After sending my daughter to summer camp this summer, I can finally make the trip. Since this region is not very well known, I didn't have high expectations. But my opinion completely changed after tasting six wonderful wines, it's a gem and I can't wait to visit again with good friends.
