Gorgeous, flaky pastry croissant, pan chocolat, and a cardamom kouign-amann (so many other sweet & savory morning offerings!). Staying just south in Gualala, came up to Pt Arena for coffee & breakfast breads/pastries. Grateful for the reco of fellow travelers enjoying same out of the back of their open hatchback. Lucky stop -- Pelican Bread is open Weds & Sat only; farmers market & local wholesale. High-quality pastores, delicious, local--all I could do to not buy one of everything....read full review
BEWARE: cash only. With tip, around $150 for dinner for two with small pours of wine by the glass. Nice wine list. Very noisy inside. Food very good and also good service good and friendly.
