So unwelcoming, unfriendly, unkind, and downright hostile. My family dodged a bullet by opting for the pizza restaurant across the street instead of the deli sandwiches we initially had in mind. After pizza we came back here for ice cream. My child politely asked to try ONE flavor and the woman barked, "no samples." The chalkboard sign screams "no bathrooms." The deli at the Point Reyes Station offered limited options and mediocre quality. Since other restaurants were closed on Monday, I stopped there by default but was unimpressed by the basic sandwich selections and lackluster toppings. I personally appreciate a deli that offers creative bread choices and sandwich combinations, but this spot mainly offered standard meats like ham, turkey, or roast beef with regular lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise. BOMB sandwiches! I got their BLT with avocado on sourdough and it was hitttinnnn! I do want to highlight that it was pretty pricey for the portion. It was pretty cute inside like a small bodega with drinks and snacks and miscellaneous goods and souvenirs. Sandos are made fresh to order! First time in Point Reyes and this was a nice spot to start especially after a long day of driving.
