CARNITAS AL ESTILO MICHOACAN #3 POMONA

Got two birria tacos. They’re pricey for tacos, although they do give you a decent amount of meat. Not especially flavorful birria I’d say. The space is clean, yet odd for a restaurant since feels like a food hall.

First time coming here the food is amazing!!

I placed an order over the phone for my lunch hour. When I returned, I discovered that one of my three items was missing. I called to inform them, but they said they couldn't refund my card for the missing burrito. I spent over $41 for six tacos and didn't receive my burrito. This was my first experience here, and it was disappointing.

Came yesterday since they opened this location closer to my house, the food was not only horrible, and expensive $12 for two tacos with a slap of rice and beans. The people taking your order had a face as if they didn't want to be there. If want to try their better location in Ontario, their carnitas there taste good. I will not be coming to this location, again food is terrible and the service too. ??????????

Came her expecting authentic Mexican food but left with a terrible experience. The prices are very high for what you receive. The meat is one of the blandest I've ever had. And the atmosphere feels like I'm eating in a hospital, a completely white big empty room with concrete floors. I'd expect this quality out of a Mexican place based in Utah not Southern California. Management rude as well.

I have frequented their location in Ontario for several years, however I stopped going as it was out of my way. Today, I tried this new location and I will say it is still new and it is very evident. Upon entry there is a large open dining area with about 15 tables but there seems to be plenty more space for booth type seating as well. No decor and music, other than staffing, it was pretty quiet. Finally they played music but it has Ads . Ordered the carnitas burrito, meat, beans, rice, cilantro and onion. Pretty typical burrito, carnitas were flavorful and tender. Family and catering specials are great for gatherings, including everything you need to have a taco bar. They do offer birria, nachos, tripa, chicharron and tortas, I'd say give em a try. ♿ accessible side entry facing Monterey Ave.

I came here not expecting much. But it turned out to be the absolute best carnitas I ever had, and the aroz con leche is better than my mom’s. Phenomenal! Hurry up and get a plate!
