Panaderia Cortez is a gem for tamales hidden in OC. The pork and chicken tamales are very flavorful, with perfect masa that is not too dry or mushy. The ratio of masa and meat is perfect, and both meats are tender, juicy, and flavorful, not dry or bland. They are a bit spicy but not overpowering. An ice cold Coke is a heavenly combo with the tamales. The bollios are freshly made and definitely worth buying. Their breads are always fresh, and the sweet bread is not to be missed for coffee. The cakes are excellent for birthdays. The staff is very attentive and friendly, providing excellent service and quality for the best price. There is always plenty of parking. The restaurant accepts Apple Pay and has a variety of drinks and other food items available.
