Hidden gem in the neighborhood. We had salmon, Amberjack and fried chicken. Forgot to take pictures for the amberjack. The fish was so fresh, fried chicken very juicy and tender. The side dishes were fried fish and tomatoes salad. Tasty hojicha ice cream on the house. Staff was super friendly. Highly recommended Hibari. They also have dinner set menus.
A hidden gem. All three of us took the Kappo Omakase and it was one of the most soul-satisfyingly delicious meals we've had in recent memory. Each dish was a surprise. Highlights included very fresh and sweet Hokkaido uni on onion-tofu; mind-blowingly meaty yet fishy monk-fish liver; amberjack with sesame and vinegar; dashi tea with fish and mushrooms; and some very tasty sashimi. I went there for dinner and got the Omakase, it was excellent. The pairings were very good and also very unique, unlike anything I’ve had before. The owner served us the dishes at the sushi bar and was very friendly throughout the dinner. They only opened 10 months ago, would highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed!
