I only had the taco and enchilada Taco plate tamales are very good. Unfortunately they were out. Will have to try next time.The interior is very basic I really love the fireplace I want to return when it is actually going. I think that would be cool.
The venue is funny ~ a big, dark cavernous space with tables plopped in the middle around a fireplace. But we loved everything we ordered: A beef taco, chile relleno, bean & cheese burrito, beans and guacamole. And the service was so nice! Everyone was very friendly and the food came out fast, too.

El Michoacán is without a doubt the best Mexican restaurant in Ramona. I’ve been eating there for 32 years and am always very pleased. The owners and staff are wonderful and try very hard to please the customers. They’re an institution!
