If you're driving through Ramona and not stopping here, you are truly missing out. Everything we had was fresh, delicious, locally sourced and presented beautifully. Staff is welcoming, attentive and genuine. This was the best dining experience we've had in a long time. The next time we're in from Phoenix we'll be back!

We dined at Marinade on Main last Friday evening, and it was a true delight. Our request to reserve a table for our party of eight was warmly welcomed and honored with prompt, on-time seating. The dining room exuded a cozy, nostalgic charm, evoking memories of Grandmaās kitchen bustling with holiday warmth. Our server was a gem: friendly, knowledgeable, and remarkably patient, even when one of our party couldnāt quite decide on an order. I savored the breaded fried chicken dinner, a generous plate featuring creamy mashed potatoes and a vibrant garden vegetable medley. The meal was tastebud and belly-satisfying, but the unexpected star was an extra piece of crispy, golden-fried chicken skin, a delightful touch that elevated the dish to farmhouse perfection. Not a single complaint arose from our group; every plate was met with smiles and satisfaction.The menu brimmed with tempting options, and Iām already eager to return and explore more. I was visiting my son who lives in Ramona along with some of my other family members. We just decided to try this restaurant because it had great reviews. There were five of us, and we all each loved our meals. Fish and chips was delicious, butterscotch pudding was amazing, Along with their locally sourced strip steak, but the best one of all was the Carnitas Smashburger. Great atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Had brunch recently at Marinade on Main in Ramona, California! A dish they call āRanchers Hashā. Made with brisket, taters, red bells, shallots, cherry maters, roasted salsa and sunny side up eggs. Overall, I thought the dish was poorly executed. Not much brisket was included, and what was there were mostly slugs of fat. The taters were universally soft, should have been more crispy. It all quickly sogged out and turned into a chore to eat. Compliments on their sunny side eggs though. Always perfectly cooked with set whites and creamy yolks. I requested a side of biscuit & gravy which was outstanding. The biscuit is roughly the size of a small throw pillow, and that country gravy is some of the best youāll put in your mouth.
Must try if in ramona I recommend the southern bell salad and anything on the brunch menu. And you must try the butterscotch pudding absolutely delicious

WELL-OILED MACHINE!! In the BEST way possible, Marinade on Main runs like a dream. It truly felt like there was no single āassignedā job for anyone. Grace, Alex, and Tiffany seamlessly helped each other out, anticipating needs before we even realized we had them. The teamwork was incredible, and the way they carried themselves. Everyone was so knowledgeable, warm, and welcoming. Youād honestly think they owned the place. Their personalities were unmatched, making the experience just as memorable as the food. And speaking of foodā¦ absolutely DELICIOUS! Every bite was perfection. Peach Burrata BLEW US AWAY and the fried chicken was TO DIE FOR! This is hands down the BEST restaurant in Ramona.

Great hidden gem in Ramona. We had salads that were super flavorful with farm fresh ingredients. The brussel sprout salad with added grilled chicken was one of the best salads I've had. Service was fast and very friendly. We'll be back for sure.
