On our way up to Reno for my dad's birthday weekend, we stopped at Ikeda's to grab some lunch. Attached to a small market, the lunch counter is known for their burgers, pot pie's, sandwiches, and of course, fresh baked pie. The line was pretty long but moved quickly and our wait for our food wasn't bad. It was a nice day so we sat outside on the patio. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. This place was such a pleasant surprise! Stopped in with my boyfriend on the way home from Grass Valley after a quick camping trip. Menu was pretty straight forward so decided to order the tri tip sandwich (+ jack cheese), onion rings and a slice of strawberry rhubarb pie. The sandwich was awesome, piled high with lots of meat and tomatoes and came with sautéed onions with a side of horseradish sauce and au jus.
