Great little cozy place to grab sushi and chicken teriyaki. Staff were super nice. Service was fast. Food was delicious. Prices were fair. What more can you ask for? 5/5!

The owner is very attentive and friendly, service was amazing. They have a cozy vibe, and the sushi was AMAZING. The housewife roll is 10/10! They can light a birthday candle on top of a cheesecake for birthdays, so definitely recommend going here for that special celebration.

I am so happy this place opened up in Rancho. It has become a go date spot for my wife and I. Staff is friendly and attentive. While the food can take some time, it is worth the wait.

I recommend the Godzilla and House Wife sushi rolls! Shrimp Daddy is delicious as well. You can't go wrong with their Bento boxes and if you go during lunch, the lunch specials won't disappoint at a discounted price. Can't beat that.

Great sushi and Teriyaki! Food was fantastic, but came out slower than I expected when we were the only customers on a Thursday. We got 4 sushi rolls and a Chicken Teriyaki bento box between the three of us. The waitress (I'm guessing one of the owners), was very attentive and did a great job. All of the food was fantastic and I'll come back again. The other two I was with order food here a lot and that's why we came. I loved the Fair Oaks roll and the SoSoSoFresh roll

I am very picky about my sushi and will typically only do Mikuni and avoid other places like blue nami & arigato like the plague. But this place both the Rancho and Madison location have been amazing. Gor really knows his stuff and how to make great sushi! Thank you for providing above par service and excellent quality food!

Greatest sushi in town because of the talented sushi chef Jimmy Kil…he can make custom rolls upon request; they also do a “secret menu”—ask for the Alan & Suzy Roll! Forget the neighborhood; its a whole new world inside, with colorful neon and a monster multi panel flatscreen TV/viewing surface screen. They also have good takeout service if you’re in a hurry, or just like eating at home. Ask for Jimmy!!!

I recently had an amazing experience at Express Sushi & Teriyaki located at 10113 Folsom Blvd, Rancho Cordova, CA! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the incredibly friendly staff, and I have to give a special shoutout to Gor, the manager, who truly goes above and beyond. The service was impressively quick, which made my visit even more enjoyable.

The atmosphere is upscale and inviting, with several big screen TVs adding to the experience. I was lucky to visit during a Karaoke evening, and wow – all the singers were so talented! It made my night really special, creating such a fun and lively environment.

As for the food, I had the veggie tempura rolls and they were absolutely delicious! Fresh, healthy, and packed with flavor – you could really tell how much care goes into the quality here. I also tried the Fuji Apple Sake, which was so refreshing and paired perfectly with my meal. The best part? The prices are very reasonable, making this spot an even better value.

I highly recommend stopping by to support this wonderful local business. Whether you're here for the food, the vibe, or the entertainment, you won't be disappointed! I'll definitely be back soon!

I stoped by to grab a quick meal at Express sushi & Teriyaki and was hit with a pleasant surprise. I thought Express sushi teriyaki was going to be like your average teriyaki joint. Boy was I wrong, as I walked in I seen the lights on the ceiling and walls. It was a pleasant atmosphere. The waiter greeted me and sat me down at the table Of my choosing. I overlooked the menu for about five minutes and had the waiter explain a little bit to me. It was not long before I made my decision on getting the teriyaki Plate with four piece sushi roll of my choice from the several they had to offer for the special. I put in my order. Didn’t take long for the meal to come out. The presentation of this dish was on point. I had the deep fried California roll, which was phenomenal, but I think out of everything my favorite was a tossup between the green salad and the slice cucumber salad. The teriyaki was cooked perfectly from the grill. Definitely coming back no-brainer highly recommend this place if you want to get a quick lunch or a quick dinner or even have a date night with your special someone. Five stars all around! Don’t forget to stop by and check it out yourself. You won’t be disappointed. Oh and by the way this is a real review from an actual customer. If I had my iPad on me when I went in to eat I would’ve took a picture of the dish I had, but I left it in the car bummer!
