I walked in expecting a decent bowl. I walked out spiritually awakened. If sushi had a gym membership and went to therapy, it would look like this poke bowl.

The fish? Fresh like it just clocked out of the ocean.
The toppings? Crunchy, juicy, spicy, sweet – all fighting for attention in the best way possible.
The sauce? Sent from heaven. Probably bottled by angels. I got the spicy mayo and now I understand inner peace.

The staff? So nice I wanted to tip them my car. Super patient, even though I stood there like a confused toddler trying to build the perfect bowl. Zero judgment. Just good vibes and helpful suggestions.

Place is clean, and the portions? Let’s just say I waddled out happy.

This spot is criminally underrated. You ever eat something so good you stop mid-bite just to stare at it? That was me. Mid-bite. Existential crisis. Just sitting there like, “Why have I wasted time eating anything else?”

If you are tired of sad lunches and flavorless regrets, do yourself a favor. Come here. Build a bowl. Change your life. 🌈

Big shoutout to The Poke Place. I do not know what you are putting in those bowls but please never stop. I would sell my Xbox before I stop eating here.

“My new addiction! I love Poké and this place is fresh and delicious! It’s my favorite place and my weekly lunch since it’s close to work. The staff is wonderful! I always get the Green Thai tea and make my own poke bowl. The beef bowl is also delicious! They make it to order and you wait about 5-10mins for the cooked and a couple minutes for the drinks. No big waits, small place not for big parties. Overall great place …I recommend.“

“I had lunch at this restaurant yesterday afternoon and accidentally left my wallet there. I didn’t realize it was missing until the evening. I rushed over before they closed at 9 PM to ask if anyone had found it—and to my surprise, the staff had kept it safe for me! I’m so grateful to the staff member, even though I don’t know her name. “Came in and was greeted by staff at the register, a very friendly woman. Ordered two two item combos and chicken potstickers. The tea machine was out of order but they have other drinks available. The food was quick to come out, maybe less than ten minutes, and it was delicious. It feels like a hole in the wall Ono Hawaiian with more options, and more authentic taste. You can see the chef cooking behind the counter. Overall great vibes and food.“

“For an authentic Chinese American (and Hawaiian)food experience, this is a great place. We’ve been coming to this place since it opened 15-20 years ago and I’ve always ordered the same two-item combo: jalapeño beef and mushroom chicken (dark meat ony) because they are excellent for non-authentic Chinese food. As noted by others, this place stands apart from other Chinese American food places because they cook everything to order. So every meal here is fresh and hot. Highly recommended.

“I feel like ever time I come here its packed, which is great for the business but the wait is numbing. I noticed the other day that there was only 1 chef so I can't get too upset but it's just frustrating. Theu need to hire more people to work there because the wait is always obscene. Other than that, the food is great and the premise is clean.“
