Sabaidee has done it. They have finally convinced me that it is stupid to tip before the food is served (and ideally eaten). Going forward, I will no longer tip at those counter service restaurants where they flip over the iPad screen and present you with “convenient” 18, 20, and 22% options.

This was my first time eating here this past weekend and I ordered Shrimp Pad Thai. It was a good sized portion, and the wait was average, the same as the other places my family ordered from. The only thing I’d complain about is the lemonade tasted horrible but that’s super minimal since it was only $1 extra. All in all it was good.
I tried this place a few times hoping the food improves by the next visit. After 3 tries I think I'm done for a while. The only think that was favorite so far is the Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodle).
Sabaidee Lao & Thai Street Food in Rancho Cucamonga, CA offers a diverse menu of authentic Lao and Thai dishes. The restaurant has received mixed reviews, with some customers praising the helpful and genuine service, particularly from the staff. Others have expressed disappointment with the food and value, with varying scores for dishes like sausage, sticky rice, garlic wings, and kao piak. However, the Thai tea and papaya salad have consistently received positive feedback.
Customers have also highlighted the affordability of the restaurant, with a beer tower enough for six portions available for only $20. The pad Thai noodles, curry, and crab rangoons have been praised for their deliciousness, and the mango sticky rice, despite some complaints about the sourness of the mango and the dryness of the rice, has been enjoyed by many.
Overall, Sabaidee Lao & Thai Street Food offers a mix of traditional Lao and Thai flavors, with both hits and misses, but the welcoming and knowledgeable staff, as well as the affordable prices, make it a popular choice for those seeking a taste of Southeast Asian cuisine.
