We had a wonderful meal at Desert Pearl. Excellent table location, booth near windows. The food was exceptionally delicious. Huge slabs of camelized maple bacon with ample chunks of lettuce and tomato with just the right amount of griddled mayo on BLT. French fries were crispy and piping hot; server brought us lots of ketchup. Loved the pomegranates added to the roasted brussel sprouts appetizer. Very fairly priced and perfect service!
Great experience. The food was incredible and best of all was our server Andrea, she was so kind and personable and did a great job taking care of us as we were celebrating both our birthdays and our anniversary. Highly recommend this spot and having Andrea as your server!!
The restaurant and food was wonderful. It was more the crowd. The parents weren't courteous about their kids, screaming inside a restaurant. They could've taken their kids outside and let the kids scream instead of inside.

Service can sometimes be slow, including late seating and drink service, but the waitstaff is often excellent. The newly opened Blu Ember in Flushing, started as a seafood restaurant with a Michelin-starred chef, offers fresh and delicious seafood. The restaurant has its own bar with affordable, unique drinks, making it great for a date. Recommended dishes include Yellowtail Crudo, charcoal-grilled beef tongue, and black truffle fries, which are of Michelin quality at good prices. The ambiance is stunning, and the staff creates a warm and welcoming environment from the moment of arrival. Overall, BluEmber is a place where good food, friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere come together.
