The yung chow fried rice was an explosion of flavor! The California blossom roll was as beautiful as delicious. I sat at bar and the service was spot on. I asked for a skinny version of Lychee martini and it's the. Est I've ever had. Views are delightful too

Bashi is an outstanding choice at Terranea. The service was impeccable. Our server, Lauren, went out of her way to make sure every need was met. She was very informed and skilled with the menu and service. The Food and Beverage Manager, Ernest, came by and checked in and offered anything that we needed. The California roll was outstanding. The Shrimp Tempura roll was perfect and both of them so fresh. The Bang Bang Shrimp was perfectly prepared. My sister ordered the Spring rolls and Beef fried rice. She shared it was delicious. The tea service was an experience all of its own. It was presented so beautifully in Rishi pots and mugs. Everything was fresh and perfectly prepared and presented. It was an experience that we will cherish. We will be back to Bashi the next time we are staying at Terranea. We highly recommend this restaurant. The staff elevated the amazing experience even higher. Thank you Lauren and Ernesto.

Last night my partner (girl friend) and I had a fabulous dining experience at bashi!! We sat outside despite cool temperatures and near gale force winds! Our waiter David helped guide us through a wonderful and diverse menu. Perfect portions delicious everything. We laughed and had a great experience.

The food service to the table was not timed properly. One person was almost done with their entree before the last dish was brought to the table. The fried rice entree was not very good. The Rice was Al dente and not much of the other ingredients other than rice. Way over priced for fried rice.

Truly terrible experience. It was my boyfriend's birthday and they put us in the overflow ballroom. Would have been nice to be notified ahead of time, felt like we were eating crappy buffet food at a hotel wedding. The service took forever (not their fault, they had to walk super far AND were understaffed) they were clearly stressed out and there were lots of screaming children too. Happy new year I guess?

Our server Lauren is the absolute best! The food was amazing. My recommendation is to up the ambiance at this little restaurant. A simple upgrade with warm lighting would really elevate the space. It's full of fluorescent, bright white lights and that's just not inviting whatsoever. Will be back though.
The sushi was mediocre and when we wanted to take the leftovers home, the waiter (who was absent more than present) said it wouldn't last the night. One dish only got to the table when a manager came by to ask if everything was okay and we said that we were almost finished with our meal and still missing a dish. The Chinese dishes were nothing to write home about. It was a cold night and there was lots of outdoor seating that wasn't warm. All in all, it was disappointing. We were glad to have the reservation as the hotel was crowded and people were clamoring to get in.
