We dined here twice during our last stay, and both meals were memorable. We split our time between San Francisco and LA, so our standards for Asian food are pretty high, and we were thoroughly impressed! My partner has Celiac, so careful attention to gluten is very important to us. Both the servers and the kitchen were exceptional in this regard. While the sushi was excellent, they worked absolute magic with some hot Asian dishes that we've never seen translated into gluten-free...
Super fresh, inventive dishes. The bone marrow fried rice with short rib was exceptional. Service was great too, attentive - our server made solid recommendations. Highly recommend Bashi.
