Got myself Hokkaido MT with boba and Osmanthus Tropic Fruit tea.The Hokkaido is sweet but not as creamy as I'd like. Every shop's Hokkaido MT is different and this shop's not my favorite although it was still good. The boba is underdone and not as sweet. It was a bit of a let down. The Osmanthus Tropic was delightful though. Fruity with a deep flavor of tea. Id recommend this one. Also disliked how dark it is inside. I could barely see the decor. It was only 6PM.

The watery diluted milk tea was pretty underwhelming. Ordered the standard “Calitea” with honey boba. You’d think being their signature drink it would be decent quality but it was weak and just very watered down. I guess quantity over quality is their business strategy. Will pass in future.

On my way home I thought I gave it a try since I live up the street and the first thing I noticed was no greet. The three workers by the counter standing and nobody said hello. After a few mins another customer walks in and immediately gets greeted. I ordered an iced coffee with light creamer only and received my coffee with too much creamer in it and when I went back to counter the worker had already left. I left without saying anything. I ended up going to Starbucks. Not coming here again.

We've been here many times and our drinks are consistently good. They also have little snacks and things that vary sometimes, but are always tasty. They have a small seating area with tons of games and stuff to play. And the bathroom is ALWAYS clean!! We stopped here once out of convenience and it has become one of our favorite South Bay boba shops!!

The staff (individual who took my order) was nice, warm, friendly, and patient as it was my first time here last weekend. She explained to me what was in their #1 recommended or "most popular" drinks the Cali Milk tea with boba (honestly I believe she said it was a mix of Thai tea and something else unique but I can't remember what it was combined with, nevertheless it was fairly good, boba quality fine as well. I am not sure why but they only had this in large size and I would have preferred a medium- the staff member told me they did the milk teas or this particular drink in large size only, I suppose I should have asked why? I'm guessing it has to do with the recipe. My biggest gripe was the smell inside. While the ambiance was welcoming (classic cozy coffee shop vibes with a slight modern twist) it smelled like a giant dirty mop in the entire place. I suppose I appreciate their commitment to cleaning but it was like that smell of overused dirty rags that seemed to permeate the place. This was then compounded by the 80 degree weather outside, and the place having zero air conditioning or even fans inside. There were many people sitting inside, I have no idea how they could handle that it was stifling. I almost left because of the smell and heat inside alone. When my barista handed me my drink, I noticed two large beads of sweat on his upper lip. Felt terrible for him. Don't think I will be back, but thank you to the hardworking staff. I am not claiming in anyway that this is a *dirty* place, this was just my experience of course.

The service was nice and there were a lot of spots for seating inside, but the tea itself tasted watered down, even after getting less ice. My friend had gotten a taro milk tea, which wasn't as thick as other taros that you find and also tasted watered down. Overall, wouldn't come to the business just to get tea unless I really wanted boba and it was the only option nearby.

I always forget about this place. Really great customer service they go above and beyond to make your drinks. There's so much to choose from too coffee, tea, boba and fruit drinks. they really should replace Starbucks on 9th street.

I ordered a Vietnamese Iced Coffee, and what I was given was (very) sweetened coffee, but it didn't taste anything like VIETNAMESE iced coffee (cà phê sữa đá) -- I don't even think it was sweetened with condensed milk, and the coffee just tasted like regular coffee, not the intensely-brewed, strong, flavorful stuff that makes a Vietnamese iced coffee / cà phê sữa đá the delicious pick-me-up that it is.Sorry CaliTea, but this is just false advertisement. Also, while I didn't see how my specific drink was made, I did see plenty of other boba/milk tea drinks being made using lots of scooped powders, if that's something that matters to you.

The short Asian girl with glasses is extremely unprofessional and rude. Never going back.

The tea at CaliTea RPV is actually pretty good. Unfortunately, this location suffers from other issues. First, their build your own drink section lists the price as $5.90. However, when you try to add a single flavor to your tea (step 3 on their menu) they charge you 35 cents. This charge is NOT listed on the menu. Note, if I were to order the same exact drink with green tea instead of black, there would be no 35 cent charge in the system. I pointed it out to the employee checking me out and was told it was strange so they removed the charge. No harm no foul, right? That was until I went back. The next time I went to this location I ordered the same thing and again pointed out the 35 cent charge. I thought everything was fine until I went to pick up the drinks. A different employee handing me the drinks said the 35 cents is a mandatory charge. Again, despite it not being present on the menu or if you order green tea instead of black. I pointed this put to them, but they didn’t seems to care.At this point I’m getting pretty annoyed, but it wasn’t that big of a deal. However, this employee had the audacity to ask me for the name of the person that originally removed the 35 cent charge for me because they needed to be written up. I told them I didn’t know their name, which is true. Shockingly they then asked me to describe the person!Honestly, after this experience I have no intention of returning. The tea is good, but whoever runs this location needs to teach their employees about professionalism because this was unacceptable.Edit: Finally got to drink me tea and they left the flavoring out. So add pettiness to the unprofessional conduct.
