I ordered the chopped salad. The chopped salad comes with three shrimps. The shrimps tasted as if they were sitting for a while, overcooked and smelled very fishy. The rest of the salad was great, and the service was good too.

I’ve had this place bookmarked for a while and finally made it here with my girlfriend on a Wednesday. It was pretty quiet which we didn’t mind at all. Even though the weather was nice, we ended up sitting inside. The indoor space is on the smaller side, but they have a lot more seating outside, and depending on where you sit, you can catch a partial view of the lake. Luis took care of us and he was wonderful. We weren’t super hungry, so we just went with a few appetizers. The eggplant parmigiana, brussels sprouts and the caprese. When the brussels sprouts came out, we realized they had bacon. It was totally on us for not checking. My girlfriend and I are both vegetarian so we couldn’t eat it. Luis didn’t make it a big deal he was really understanding and immediately offered to swap it out without the bacon. He was so nice! Thank you, Luis! Everything we had was really good and the service was fast. We also had a couple glasses of wine, no complaints there either. An excellent low key dinner. We will be back for sure!

I recommend this place.
The staff are very friendly.
My wife had the RAVIOLI ALLA BOLOGNESE, my boys had the SPAGHETTI CON POLPETTE and I had the POLLO ALLA PARMIGIANA, we all LOVED our food. Will definitely come back.

This place looked promising, but both the food and service were mediocre, to say the least. I didn't expect my arugula to be limp for the price I paid.

The food here is amazing, but they really struggle with weekend or event crowds. They don’t really plan and end up running out of everything. My recommendation, enjoy this place on a weekday, because they can’t handle busy weekends.

Il Sole has become one of our favorite restaurants. The service is great, with some of the servers are either chefs or studying to be one. They have the best meatballs and their mushroom truffle oil pizza will have you disregard your diet if on one. We make great lamb but the lamb chops are hard to resist, Always enjoyable to see Luigi there an remind him that Sicily is part of Italy and that he is Italian not Sicilian, even though he will debate that. Worth putting on your list to try and enjoy.

This Italian place is hit or miss. It was my birthday dinner. Loved the dip w the bread. Used to work at Pomodoro back in the day. Same recipe and lovely bread. Caprese was ok. My husband ordered the penne with mushrooms as a main. For some reason they added arugula and cooked it into the pasta. Then my Carbonara was odd as well. They took a classic dish and added quite a bit of half cooked bits of onion and a bunch of cooked sage. It really was overly flavored of sage. Neither of these ingredients were listed on the menu. The eggs were a bit overcooked but that part doesn’t bother me much. Why they over complicated it and ruined that dish? I sent it back. I ordered the appetizer ravioli with fig and goat cheese - that was delicious and perfectly done.

The young male server was overall pretty mediocre and inattentive. We have a baby and he took ages to get to us for most things. My husband asked for a spoon and he forgot. He also asked for salt and pepper and also forgot. We requested a kids menu w crayons when we first arrived but they don’t provide such a thing. One thing that was quick was the check.

Been here a handful of times and sometimes it ok and other times kinda sucks for a “fancy” dinner place. A shame because it’s conveniently close by. I much prefer Tutto Fresco’s for their consistency and better service. Hopefully they step it up to earn loyalty.

I gave them 2 🌟 because the employees were nice and friendly, but the pasta was tasteless and way overpriced. I got a kids pesto and I asked them to add shrimp (we were in the sushi next door and my son didn't want sushi). They told me they will add 3 shrimps, but the pasta came with 2. I paid $30 for this kids plate. Just two weeks ago I had an amazing Cioppino in Buona Forchetta in San Clemente for $33.
I'm sorry IL Sole, but your math doesn't add up! Ciao per sempre!
