Best sushi in Shasta County, for whatever that’s worth. Their lunch specials make this a place to put on your rotation with the Chinese joint down the street and eating at home. Yup, should be included in the best of Redding. The vibe is Sacramento cool (they awkward) but the sushi is fresh and spicy as you want it to be. Recommend the spicy gyoza. Will be going back this week.

Took forever to drinks. Never got a refill on water or asked if we wanted another drink. Appetizer took a long time to come out and when it did it had crab on top of the oyster which was not as described on the menu. Then our food came out not even 5 minutes after our appetizer. Still not drink refill. Took waitress 20 minutes to check on food (my husband has maybe 1 bite left when she finally came to check on food) I had a steak salad with no dressing (they forgot to put it on) so I didn’t get to eat until after my husbands food was finished. Food was good but service ruined it for me. I will not go back. I was so excited to eat here for our anniversary and now I’m left disappointed.

I have never been disappointed in the food I get here. The shrimp tempura is one of my go to rolls! The tuna is nice and fresh!
A young hip vibe with music playing. Roomy. Nice booths and great bar area. The servers were so nice and helpful and the manager even stopped at our table to check on us! There's a great array of food selections from Sushi to Mac and cheese and everything was delicious (yes, we got the Mac and cheese and it was fantastic)! Blackened salmon, and puffy tacos as well as the poke and sashimi were great! If you're sensitive to spicy, go easy on the sauces and Wasabi, they were extremely potent!
Very dark in the restaurant didn't like the atmosphere at all the food was way to expensive to be 70$ 1/10

would do 3.5 stars if i couldthe sushi and apps are solid, but the bartenders are always standing behind the bar gossiping about their work drama and personal stuff, which nobody really wants to listen to. seems like some of them are undertrained and/or lack professionalism. they're not rude to customers or anything, but don't bring your workplace tensions to the front of the house. it's weirdthey also lack a legitimate dessert menu, which is weird for an upscale restaurant. the people (me) want fried green tea ice cream!
