The restaurant is known for its excellent service, with friendly and attentive staff, particularly Holly, who provides top-notch service with a smile. Guests love the big booths inside and look forward to enjoying the outdoor patio when the weather is nice. The broasted loaded potato appetizer with sour cream sauce is a standout dish, and the fried mushrooms are very good. While the parking lot and entry door can be dark, and the decor feels heavy, the atmosphere is enjoyable. Service is good, with efficient and friendly bartenders, though some areas like the patio or bar can be slow or loud. The Shack remains a favorite regular go-to for lunch and dinner.
