Love everything about this restaurant except they blast club-type music so loudly, you can’t have conversations. It’s not a club. It makes no sense to have that type of music playing.
Short rib enchiladas were outstanding. Sat at the bar, Eddie (bartender) excellent, good suggestions, good margaritas.
La Popular is a restaurant with amazing food and cocktails. The free salsa is delicious, and the chips and salsa are absolutely amazing. The carne asada plate is very good and tender, and the chicken tinga plate with street corn is a great choice. The mole enchiladas come highly recommended. The food is heavenly and the presentation is out of this world magical. The staff is beyond friendly and nice, with servers like Selma being amazing and Daniel showing amazing hospitality. The bartenders Maria & Kimberly are kind and fulfilled requests. The place is swanky and impeccably clean and smells so good. The daily promotions are a highlight, with Tuesday being the spot for all day happy hour. The agave club subscription sounds cool, though sold out with a waiting list. Overall, the experience is great, and the restaurant is top notch and well done every time consistently. It deserves a billion stars, and guests will happily return and become regulars.
