The baguette was not authentic French, which given the name of the bakery is what I expect them to be going for. I can't pinpoint it exactly. The color felt a little too light and refined, it didn't have the dense crust and characteristic chew, and lacked the neutral to savory flavor of a real baguette--I feel like it had an almost subtle sweet or milk bread like...

Finally tried this place, and I’m so glad I did!
The moment I parked and stepped out of the car, I could already smell the butter in the air—always a sign that you’re about to walk into something freshly baked and dangerously good. The man inside greeted us right away, which was such a nice touch.
