Great local place for a quick bite. Friendly staff and down home Mexican cuisine. My go to place for a carne asada burrito and a breakfast burrito (better than Phanny's down the street)--and, surprisingly, good coffee to accompany the breakfast burrito.

And prices are good. In an era where every restaurant owner/share holder seems to be trying to become a billionaire gouging customers on prices and chronically underpaying and understaffing, this place is well staffed with quality people who are on it. Well done owner.

We recently returned to CA after a decade in OR, and have been doing a tour de Mexican food. We got their burritos (one wet pastor and one dry carnitas) to go and walked down to the beach during golden hour and had the most glorious experience. I love burritos, and this may be my most favorite/best burritos of life. We’ll be back to confirm that every experience is equally good! They were recommended by the lovely people working at Kinecta banking around the corner. This corner has it all- Great banking, great burritos, and great beach views.

My original choice of Mexican food to choose from, ordering on Doordash was not accepting additional orders. I saw this local spot delivering near San Pedro, saw reviews and ordered based on 4.7 star ? reviews.
Well, I can't be so generous and give more than 2 stars ✨️ on this review. I ordered the 2 shredded chicken chimichanga burritos and 2 "hard shell" shredded chicken tacos and rice to be delivered. Well.... when I opened the shredded tacos, the paper wrapping was dripping with grease and let's just say the tacos weren't hard shell. They completely feel apart upon grabbing.
The rice was okay. The 2 chimichanga burritos, left little to the imagination, and we're dry, soggy and lack luster in taste.
I did request a refund, due to all the areas of were my food service failed ... with doordash to get in contact with the restaurant. And no resolution has been made. I will not visit this location or any of its chain locations in person, let alone a food delivery service!
I've known &have passed this restaurant many times, along with having a good friend that likes &who are patrons to this establishment. With that said I decided to stop in &check it out to see whats it about. I unconsciously picked a busy day along with not knowing they were short staffed that day. But with these 2negitives it did not hinder our experience. We had a wonderful time! The atmosphere was great, the food & cocktails were tasty &the employees very accommodating! If you are ever in the area &hungry, or just want cocktails, I highly recommend stopping in, you should not be disappointed ?

Customer Service needs some work. After waiting 20 minutes to get acknowledged a very nice server Luis helped my friend and I. He cleaned the table and proceeded to be our server. NOBODY else helped us at all.

Green chili burrito wet was a disappointment to mr. Big chucks of pork meat no flavor. Would have been better cut up small pcs with onions tomato and sauce. Pork meat felt like it boiled meat.

As a California native, I am offended that the California burrito doesn’t come with guacamole. If it doesn’t have avocado then don’t call it a California anything. I still give it 3 stars because the fries were seasoned which gave it a nice flavor but no guac and a huge glob of sour cream was not what I was looking for.
