My favorite place in the village! I remember when the owner only had his van and sold tea from there, it's amazing to see how far the business has gone. The tea is delicious and so are the snacks. It is a great place to go with friends for a bite.
Love the Hippie :)))) and all the fun drinks! Great service and staff! :)))
This community gem has become our salvation from the corporate coffee cartels that permeate our cities. The food, service, drinks and atmosphere are necessary for small communities like ours to feel like home. You don’t need those corporate coffee makers - you just need someone to curate your caffeine curiosities and this is the place.
I had mixed feelings about my visit. I was expecting tea served in a teapot so I could adjust the strength myself, but instead I received a regular English breakfast tea in a mug. When I asked for lemon, I did receive a generous slice, which was a nice touch.
However, the main disappointment was the meal. The sourdough bread with avocado didn’t meet my expectations — the avocado mix had a lot of red onion and was quite spicy, which didn’t suit my taste. It didn’t really feel like guacamole. The sun-dried tomatoes were so tough I couldn’t chew them, which was unfortunate. Toasting the bread might have helped improve the texture and overall experience.
I understand everyone has different preferences, but in this case, the dish just wasn’t for me. I’ll probably try another place next time.
P.S. I really love when owners take the time to read and respond to reviews — that means a lot! I'm sure you're amazing at making tea, it truly shows. As for the guacamole — it’s not just about skipping the onion. I actually love onion in guac, just felt like there was a bit too much this time. It tasted more like an onion dip. But hey, everyone’s got different tastes, and it’s great that some people enjoy it that way!
Exceptional service, great staff, delicious tea! I live in New York and will be back for all the tea blends
Pb and Acai bowl was freaking amazing! Hibiscus tea paired well with the lavender scone (out of this world btw!). Previously had the maple scone and being from VT, it's one of the best I've had. Melt in your mouth. Staff is phenomenally kind and fun. Love coming here
Best tea in the South Bay. Get The Rocker, it’s delicious
Alex is such a hoot! Hes very friendly and funny. The drinks were amazing as well! Every time I come I try a new drink and I've liked each one. So far my favorite was The Greaser. The jalapeño cream cheese bagel was so simple yet delicious. I also recommend the Peanut butter acai bowl. The songs and vibes are great! Def recommended
My friend got one of their mocktails and it was really good! I get The Punk tea, they’ve explained it to me many times but I never remember what’s in it.
This places is great if you’re just looking for strong tea or a bar atmosphere without the alcohol.
The staff are chill and the prep area is always clean
One of my all-time faves. Drinks are on point, the vibes are immaculate, staff is cool af. What more could you want?

Just go here. The tea lattes are so so good. I live in Santa Monica and will just be driving down here time to time to be able to get these teas. Today I had the rocker and it’s topped with the most delicious foam!
I find myself going to Racer Tea more and more. The drinks are comforting and tasty and the vibe is cool... way better than your average corporate spot. I would recommend to anyone looking for a great beverage next to the beach!
Unique and amazing vibes and friendly people

I love your tea, ambience, and the ocean next door. I think you are the only real tea place around for hundreds of miles!
