Best coffee ever! Very old school, hand roast 250 pounds of beans each day. Great customer service!
Best local coffee roaster on the Peninsula!
Everything they sell is roasted within two days or less. They are a small local commercial roaster so everything they roast is out the door very quickly and always fresh.
To-go coffee bar until 1:00 pm with self-service drip coffee plus hand-made hot espresso drinks, all to go (no seating).
They have bean sales all day and can do a custom grind for you as well.
Highly recommended!!
Friendly and helpful staff. Mark's Blend and Vanilla Hazelnut Creme are my go-to buys. Looking forward to trying some other flavors.
This is an actual coffee roastery with a dozen or so sources of coffee beans. We like dark and bold coffee. Our favorite is French Sumatra. Very smooth.
See and smell them roasting every time I'm there, knowledgeable and very helpful picking different coffee beans to try, small business, and encourages reusing your coffee bean bags. Parking can be challenging at times but love this place!
I was pleasantly surprised with the varieties and the knowledgeable staff.
Best place to get freshly roasted beans at a reasonable price.
Yes the owner is quite welcoming and warm but this is a coffee shop that has terrible coffee drinks. Maybe good coffee beans to buy. Skip this if you want a good coffee drink. There is no place to sit down either
Such a Hidden Gem!!! Spent time with the owner as he thoroughly explained all about the coffee beans, how they are processed and how to best order my cappuccino. I learned a lot and the coffee was amazing! We didn't realize how long this place has been here and happy to discover it now.
Love getting beans from here; great roastery. Staff is friendly and knows what they're talking about.
I was hoping that the shop would be a gem. But, when I asked to taste one of their varieties, the person that was there to help said that it would be too much trouble for him to prepare a cup of coffee and have to clean up the machine afterwards (this was the middle of the day). I ended up buying some coffee, but the package did not have a date of when it was roasted. Usually high-end roasters will put a date of when the coffee beans were roasted. I would’ve probably looked past that if the customer service was better.

A dark roast mixed with a light roast does not a medium roast make. Re: Woodside blend. Truly bad.
I've been getting my coffee beans from Connoisseur for a decade now. Fantastic.
