Authentic and delicious German beers and food. The German cheesecake was arriving in 30 minutes, so we sipped our beets and waited. Definitely worth the wait. oh, and the grocery store has an excellent inventory of German Christmas cookies, chocolates, etc.

We finally managed to visit and had a couple of good beers with a pretzel. Service was good and fun to experience a German beer hall layout in the Bay Area.

The Gourmet Haus Stadt is located right next to the train station, so it's an easy find from both San Francisco and the South Bay.

The best bit for us was wandering the attached German shop. An incredible selection of food, wine and beer that brought back lots of memories of our German...

My bf looooves this place. The people are super nice. Just tried the grapefruit beer and omg ... can't believeve i have been missing this my whole life. Even my IPA loving bf loved it.

Vegetarian options: Really good house salad, love the dressing
