Love this place! It’s great to enjoy some German food and drinks there in a casual atmosphere. They even have authentic German beer benches! The staff has always been super nice and helpful. Prices are reasonable - particularly considering that some German ingredients aren’t that easy to come-by in the US.
Gourmet Haus Staudt is a great place to get a feel for what a German Gasthaus is like. But I can’t figure out why they spell Stadt (City) with a ‘u’. There’s a good selection of German beer, as well as other craft beers. Food is also good and a nice selection of German style dishes. In addition, they are also reasonably well stocked with food and beer for sale reminiscent of Germany.
Authentic and delicious German beers and food. The German cheesecake was arriving in 30 minutes, so we sipped our beets and waited. Definitely worth the wait. oh, and the grocery store has an excellent inventory of German Christmas cookies, chocolates, etc.
