I do not recommend this restaurant. The pho was mid and the service was abysmal. Our server was friendly but no one noticed us standing there waiting for a table for far too long and the owner was one of the people ignoring/not noticing us.
It was amazing! I was a bit skeptical because they didn’t seem to be any people eating, but when we did get served with the food and drinks, it was amazing. I would recommend this to anybody who is looking for a good noodle soup.
A chicken soup and a shrimp spring roll for more than $32???
I didn't check the price on the menu as I'm concerned about spending but $32 for lunch is way too much in addition the shrimps tasted spoiled and the chicken was very dry.
not going back to this place or recommending to my friends, what a rip off.
the lady even tried to make me pay $2 for the peanut sauce for the roll. what a scam.
The Pho here is flavorful and delicious. I enjoy all the food and they always have the delicious plum sauce and peanut sauce my favorite.

This place serves large portions of home made food. The soup has good flavor and the rice noodles were just ok. The imperial rolls were very hot and the fried rice was well prepared. They need to learn more customer service or write the restaurant rules somewhere so we do not misunderstand each other

I have been coming to Hometown Noodles for years. It’s a hole in the wall, with good food, okay service up until today.
I got a chicken Pho for dinner on my way home from work, when I got home I started eating, but the chicken tasted funny, I spit it on a napkin, I continued eating thinking it was a piece of chicken fat, the next piece of chicken also tasted funny and that’s when I realized it was spoiled.
I walked back to the restaurant and tried to explain to the woman at the register that the chicken is spoiled. Instead of hearing what I had to say she started screaming “I sold a lot today, I sold a lot today, I sold a lot today”, she proceeds to takes out cash out of the register, hands me $18 and tells me to “get out, GET OUT, GET OUT!”
She didn’t have to be rude, she could have replaced the order, I didn’t feel like cooking and she should have looked into what happened. Instead I left the restaurant without saying anything because I didn’t want other customers dining in to be discourage from eating there.
This place has been around for as long as I can remember, it WAS my go to place for pho, specifically when I’m feeling under the weather. Not the way to be treated as a new or regular customer.

Be aware this restaurant has loud politics on tv. I don't know if it is all evening but it was on a few times. While the food is good and fast, at an ok price for these days, i dont think too many people like being bombarded with channel flipping politics of any sort.

The manager is a thief; she attempted to levy an additional 30% charge on my order simply because I opted to use my credit card. If Hometown Noodle does not accept credit cards, they should promptly remove any signage suggesting otherwise. These are incredibly shady business practices. I am deeply concerned about the quality of ingredients they use in their food if they are blatantly willing to deceive customers. Buyer beware...

A pretty decent family owned Vietnamese restaurant. It’s been a while we saw traditional dripping coffee, so we really liked it. The taste was authentic. For the food, we ordered one Shrimp spring rolls, one Grilled pork ball spring rolls and one Pho Tai. Pho was decent, the broth was just okay. The other two dishes were good. But, I agreed the price was quite expensive compared to other Vietnamese restaurants I have tried.I think they kinda lack of staff because one lady took the job of waiter + cashier + preparing drinks, one uncle served food and cleaned up tables, and there seemed to be only one chef. Thus, it took a bit of time for food to be served. But, the lady was very nice. She chatted with us for a bit while serving our drinks and during checkout.

This relatively modest restaurant offers incredibly good food, don't miss it!!
Went there for the first time, recommended by my roommate, who goes there a lot with her co-workers. Cannot say enough great things about this place. Plates are absolutely generous, flavors top notch and plenty of choices even for a vegetarian. Two very picky kids couldn't have enough. The service and attention we got puts many other restaurants to shame.
