Recent Reviews

An ok place to get pupusas when Cipotes is closed (on Mondays). Pupusas and crudito were ok, just good enough. Coffee came after I finished the first pupusa. I Asked for hot sauce, but never got it. I got there just after it opened, and I got the feeling that I was interupting their work. I eas the only customer. A very distant second best to Cipotes.

I am a customer almost every weekend but lately they are putting very little sauce and a lot of curtido for the pupusas.... another thing is that they put a lot of oil in it, it is as if they put them in deep fryers, they taste more like oil than the flavor of the pupusa . They have raised the price to give less sauce. Ami see is not good. They are delicious, I don't complain about the flavor, just that they are putting too much oil in them. My favorite taco place in the Bay Area! Food is cooked fresh abd is delicious. Karlita’s popular gets very busy during lunch and dinner hrs so plan ahead or be prepared to wait you won’t regret it!
