About Local Kitchens

Local Kitchens is located inside a Bay Club location, with a separate entrance just past the club front door. Orders are placed on a tablet with window pickup. There is a large dining room with several sitting areas and a large cucumber water dispenser. The green falafel pita and lemonade are delicious. The homemade guac and chips and the Fried Chicken Salad are delicious. The Amba Chicken Pita is a really good sandwich when the ingredients are properly mixed, but about 4 out of 5 times the cabbage ends up at the bottom, the chicken in the middle, and the sauce separately on top; when they are not mixed properly, the taste and texture are not enjoyable. The Salmon Recovery Plate is the best in the Bay. The Sonoran berry horchata is truly one of the best beverages in the bay area, super delicious and unforgettable. Square Pie Guys’ focaccia-style pizzas are crispy and hit the spot. It is a cool concept worth checking out, especially for a group that likes a lot of different stuff but does not feel like running all over.

I wasn't sure what to expect here as this is sort of inside of a Bay Club location. You enter by a separate entrance just past the club front door. Order on a tablet with a window pickup. They have a large dining room though with several sitting areas and they even have a large cucumber water dispenser. We were dining in so they actually brought our tray out to our table because it was kind of quiet that day. I got a green falafel pita and a lemonade which were both delicious....read full review
I've ordered to go a few times and Local Kitchens has consistently been a great spot. Their homemade guac and chips as well as their Fried Chicken Salad are delicious!
I’m a frequent visitor at Local Kitchen in Bay Club and usually order the Amba Chicken Pita.

Unfortunately, about 4 out of 5 times the ingredients are not properly mixed. The cabbage ends up at the bottom, the chicken in the middle, and the sauce separately on top. When the ingredients are mixed properly, it’s a really good sandwich — but when they are not, the taste and texture are not enjoyable.

Please make sure the ingredients are evenly mixed before serving....read full review
