Paid café prices for a sausage & egg burrito that was basically a potato burrito with commitment issues. The sausage and egg were so scarce I thought they were garnish. Tasted like something straight from the grocery store freezer, just… marked up for branding. Never again.

It took 15 minutes to get a latte with only ten people in the store and four people working

I was really excited to try the new espresso pearls, but the experience was honestly disappointing. I asked the barista what she’d recommend to go with it, and she just pointed at the menu and said “any of those syrups.” She didn’t seem in a great mood, and when another barista came over, she just stood there without saying anything or offering help. It wasn’t even busy.

When I finally ordered and clearly said I wanted pearls in both drinks, they only added it to one. Luckily I noticed and they fixed it, but they never told me I’d need the thick straw for the pearls. So I got home excited to try it, only to realize I couldn’t even get to the pearls because I had the regular straws. Overall, bad service, bad attitude, and a super disappointing first try of the espresso pearls.

It is what you can expect from a coffee place; good coffee, simple seating

Bathrooms are not great (surprising, given that they are locked for customers only), and the overall atmosphere isn't particularly nice. I'd recommend heading over to Philz, a few blocks over in downtown Redwood City.

This Peets has been my go-to for coffee, but now I'll avoid it from now on.
Here, you can't just walk up, tell the counter person what you want, take your coffee, and go.
The counter person is required to write your order down on a coffee sleeve and place it on another counter where someone picks up the sleeve, pours it, and hands it over.
The process takes way too much time for me, and I end up throwing the sleeve away anyway.
The ownership here should take the example from Starbucks or any other Peets.

Atmoshere: Not sure what's going on here... multiple standing ventilation units on the floor vented through/ into the ceiling. Reminded me of hazmat cleanup??? Good/friendly service at the register. Not so happy looking/sounding batistas... but they made a good latte. Almond croissant was a bit tough but tasty.
