This has been my go to spot for fast Chinese food. I ask for what’s in front of me and the servings are good sized.

I would just like to say the food tastes pretty good and the portion sizes are great. My only issue is if you go there for your lunch break and you show up when it's first opens, sometimes you're waiting 15 to 20 minutes for certain items to be ready Eating into your lunch break. Other than that is a pretty nice place for the price. And the portions

Idk.. I got the 3 entree plate with fried rice & chow mein (good enough) jalapeño shrimp (tasted overly fishy), general chicken (tasted like 'dirt?') and orange chicken (ok).. CS means a lot to me and I felt rushed and unheard. I asked to add on the 5.5oz. Chili sauce for $2 but she just threw in the little one. Won't be back.
Was looking for cheap chinese food close to my workplace and found this one. Food was beyond my expectation in the best way. Loaded my plates to the brim and VERY reasonably priced. Definitely had vibes of that old-school feel of how things were back in the day. Will be back for more.

I doordashed US Chinese Food and really impressed at how affordable and delicious it is. This is a great spot if you want cheap Chinese food in Redwood City. I got their 2 and 3 entree combo. The 2 entree had lemon chicken, coconut shrimp (crispy peeled shrimp in a creamy sauce), chicken chow mein, and chicken fried rice. For the 3 entree, I got mushroom chicken, beef broccoli, and coconut shrimp (different style from the 2 entree, this one was grilled and still had the shell on).
Portions are huge, 2 boxes served 2 people for almost 3 meals - just to say how giant they were. Food is a little oily but that’s kinda expected for all Chinese food, and still tasted really good. Everything came out hot and flavorful. For the price and amount you get, it’s really worth it. I’ll prob order again soon.

Food is decent with big plates but service is terrible ...staring at my plate for 20 minutes until someone decided to help and take my money. There was someone with a large order ahead of me waiting for a plate why do we all have to wait. Zero common sense with these people.

Still the best, most affordable local spot around even after all these years. Now I take my kids here! Rarely a veggie in sight tho, if you like Chinese veggies, know what youre getting into.

So let me start by saying the portions here are astronomical in comparison to panda or other similar restaurants. They have good chow mein and good fried rice, the potstickers aren't amazing but they aren't bad either however they were really hard on the edges. So as far as the entrees go I would say this is where they dropped the ball. Either the meat was very bland and they doused I in way too much add on sauce which overpowered and inevitably ruined the other flavors that traditionally are much more apparent. On the other end they had beef and broccoli which had almost zero sauce and like everywhere they give you no beef (I got a whopping 2 pieces with 90million broccoli)
We had the lemon chicken which tasted like orange chicken and wasn't bad just way too much sauce. We had generals chicken which wasn't complimentary to how appealing it appeared. All in all we have seen this restaurant for so many years and never tried it until tonight and frankly I think that this won't be on my list of restaurants I have to go to again. Was rather disappointed but understandable for the price. You can't set high standards for cheaper Chinese food. The service was ok but I couldn't understand a thing the lady yelled at all. They seem quick to get you through the line and paid for. The wait for potstickers was under 5 mind so service was super fast which was a plus. I recommend this place to anyone on a budget for under 15 bucks for a meal. It's filling and rich not diabetic or diet friendly but since when is Chinese food ever either of those things...! I hope they can improve the sauce dilemmas because that alone cost them my return business.

The staff called Jing was very welcoming and attentive. Orders came out quickly and everything was done well. Everything we ordered tasted great. The ingredients were fresh and the flavors were well balanced. Highly recommended.

The Older Asian lady is rude and rushed us to order. Not once but both times I got food there. The Latina lady is very nice and the Jalapeno wings are fire.
