Khuu Bistro looks like a wonderful place for authentic Vietnamese cuisine. I really like the variety of dishes, from flavorful Pho and Bun Cha to vermicelli, rice plates, and Southern Vietnamese specialties. I’ve been a regular here for about four years now. It’s really hard to find an authentic Vietnamese restaurant in the West LA area, so if you’re willing to make the 20–30+ minute drive, this is definitely worth it. The food is consistently great, and the owners are always very kind and welcoming.
Food is great, some different dishes we don’t see in other Vietnamese restaurants.

Khuu Bistro is a charming restaurant with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The co-owners, who are also the chef, are friendly and accommodating. This Vietnamese restaurant offers a menu featuring a variety of flavorful dishes, including the popular #23 vermicelli bowl, grilled pork, egg rolls & shrimp over vermicelli, and fresh rolls that are described as extremely fresh and tasty. The restaurant has a cozy, homely feel, with nice lighting and comfortable tables, along with wooden cabinets and funky thrift store items decorating the space. The establishment is clean and has a gender-neutral restroom. Parking is easy with a nearby parking lot, although it can get crowded at times. The menu is not very large but offers unique dishes like banh beo, banh xeo, and Phnom Penh style noodle soup, which includes interesting additions such as fried pork skin and quail eggs. The Pho broth is among the best ever had, and the bun bo hue broth is tasty and different. Overall, Khuu Bistro provides delicious and fresh Vietnamese cuisine in a quiet and charming setting, perfect for enjoying incredible food with a cozy ambiance.
