“I visited Palenque Mexican Restaurant on Father's Day with my tres amigos, and overall, it was a great experience! From the moment we walked in, the host who seated us was warm and welcoming, setting the tone for a good time. The real star of our visit was Sally—the bartender and our server—who was absolutely amazing. Her energy made the evening even more enjoyable, and her watermelon margaritas were next level. We loved them so much we each had about four! As for the food, it was a bit of a mixed bag for me. I ordered the camarones a la diabla, which I've had in the past and really enjoyed. Unfortunately, this time the sauce didn't quite hit the same—it tasted reheated, and the consistency was off. It was still decent, but not what I remembered. On the bright side, my friends made better menu choices. The steak fajitas were flavorful and perfectly cooked, and the carnitas were hands-down the best dish at the table—crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. The bathrooms were clean (always a plus), and the atmosphere overall was vibrant and fun. Despite my so-so entree, I'll definitely be back—especially for the drinks and to try more of the menu.“

“We don’t cook with oil at home, I had chose the power bowl because it looked maybe the freshest / most veggie forward rather than burgers. Was worried salads might be too small. When I finished my meal there was about a tablespoon of oil leftover on my plate, definitely didn’t need it, the flavour was great without. Felt not great after eating so much oil.😒 Staff was super nice though, we had asked if we could do a bit of remote work for a few hours and they were very gracious letting us work there, and refilling our water. We ordered some baked goods and they were both really incredible.“

“We like to stop by this place after dinner. Just to talk and chill. The later it gets, the busier it gets, at least Friday thru Sunday. Service is good. Very helpful and joyful. I like the whiskey sour, one of my favorite drinks here. Try it out!“

“Wonderful atmosphere wonderful food gotta go there!“
“This little dive bar has great service, great conversations, and a low-key vibe. Megan was the bartender with a cowboy hat, so respecful and fast to service. Had great conversation with her and she made the experience of hanging out at this bar. I'm from Joshua Tree area and she made me feel right at home like I'm a local. Just hanging out in between VA appointments and had some drinks before an MRI and it was a really great experience.
Someone give Megan a raise 100% she makes the experience at this location.“

“Amazing authentic mexican food! The portions are huge, the food is super delicious and the staff is very nice. I went a few times and I keep coming back. It is simply the best Mexican restaurant in Riverside (and there are many), highly recommended.
Vegetarian options: Not bad vegetarian options for a Mexican restaurant.“

“This restaurant is consistently amazing regarding food, ambiance, and service. We had Phillip and Alysa. They have great customer service and personalities. They are very attentive. Alysa anticipates the needs of the customer to advocate for a great customer experience. Breanna manager was very accommodating and sweet. Highly recommended and FYI the bone in Ribeye is the best.“

“Okay, the tacos didn't travel well, primarily due to the shells getting too wet from each others' ingredients, but the fillings were just fine. Would happily eat them on-site, next time. Where this place gets its massive props from me? The ceviche (I had the spicy version), and the amazingly great clam chowder. I mean, I know that chowder is a popular item in Baja, but now I have no reason to travel and find out why. For all I know they opened a can of clam chowder and enhanced it with their own secret blend of herbs and spices, but who cares? It was fantastic.“

“came here for the first time last night because I just opened a tow yard close by and the place seemed to be poppin. was a awesome choice. pulled in and the lot had classic cars and low lows parked outside. that was the first sign that it was meant to be. ordered fish tacos and they were bomb! wife ordered flautas for the babies and they had cheese inside. apparently they were amazing also. the salsa bar.... every salsa was very good I had to have all of them. good vibes! was leaving and a guy was walking to patio with a burrito the size of a football no lie! will be a new spot for the family for sure!“

“Went for mother's Day and while it was pricey it was absolutely worth it. The mariachi were amazing and for mother's Day they had a buffet. It was very busy and while we did have a reservation we did have to remind them when others were getting called to be seated but everything else perfect. Service was very good and the atmosphere was great as well. The food was delicious“
“They always have great people working here. Fast friendly and helpful. It's in the Casino, so the drinks are pricey
Kid-friendliness: Do not bring children unless you're going to stay at the hotel, because kids are turned away at the main entrance. I think 21 and older“
